Is it bad luck?

I dont think so, i think alot of people just wait until after the 12 weeks period because then the chance of a miscarriage isnt as high

I don't think its bad luck, its just that things are more likely to go wrong in the first trimester. I didn't tell most people until after 12 weeks, but I decided to tell the people that I would be willing to tell if I had a miscariage anyway.

Some people say it is. I waited til after 3 mos. to tell my mom -- mostly because I didn't know HOW to tell her. With my second pregnancy I told her I thought I was pregnant and I ended up finding out and telling everyone at 7 weeks. I think they believe it's bad luck because a lot can go wrong before 3 months.
