A great leader is a best listener

Hi! Its true. A leader is sensitive to the needs of his members. HE should listen adn consider their opinion and not just focus on his's.

A great leader has to be able to listen but to also hear what is being said. The art of being a leader comes from leading by example as well as being a good listener. Good listeners hear what you have to say, repeat what you said to show that they understood what you said and responds in an appropriate manner. Just because someone says they are listening does not always mean they are. By doing these 3 simple things, a leader can show their followers that they are listening to what they have to say.

Hi, Yes, there is denying the fact that a chatter can not become a great soul. We all know the the characters like, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther, king, Napoleon, Hitlar, Nehru and so and so forth. They would listen to the people carefully what message they have brought or trying to convey to them. When common people would say 10 sentences he will say just one or two. And he could be so precise because of his listening their story and the link with the contemporary events.

Yes, for one to be a good leader, he/she should be a good listener too. You should also listen for the suggestions of your subordinates and discern if they will be helpful in doing a project. As they say, two heads are better than one.

Absolutely true. I always has a thought that it's more important to have a great boss who can give you much advice and instruction than the job itself. I just want to have such a good leader helping me develop quickly.

Well said my friend but the great part of a leader is not the one who leads its the one who follows his subjects. leaders are great listeners too as listening is a skill where u learn many experiences from the speaker.
