For how long should one sleep? This is one of the most important questions as both under and over sleeping has its own downfall.If one does not get the sleep which he wants that can lead to tiredeness,fatigue and mood swings and if one sleeps more then too he will feel tired and sleepy.

To be honest one should have atleast ten hours of sleep daily. I know this sounds weird but that the ancient truth which I happened to read in an old scripture. we have brought it down to 8 hours and some even say that 6 is enough. But the age old one 10 stays best.

than too 10 hours is a lot i think the maximum which one should sleep is eight hours ant thats the best for the body, u will get the complete rest and you will be prepared for the next day with the complete energy.

yes as I said this eight was made to accommodate our hectic life schedule. ten hours hours is what the old medical says. this eight hours was brought in by us.

People should at least sleep 8 hours but I think people's amount of sleep depend on a person. This is because for me I know 8 is way too little.

Hi ganma,
An adult needs to have at least six hours sleep at night. Many people think that sleep deficit of night can be made up. Even if you get up at ten O'clock in the morning you will not feel fresh as you have you done nothing difficult task.
