I'm a New York Yankee fan because of Mariano Rivera. I always liked the
demeanor he shows whenever he closes a game. He gives none of the theater antics I
Usually see in closers of the game. Just goes about his job, and in a while, the ninth inning is over.
I see no closer being better or surpassing the achievements he's established in his career. Do you?

Mariano Rivera is the man! I never saw a better closer than him but, of course, I only watch baseball for a few years and Rivera was one of the reasons that I chose Yankees as my team (also for Mark Teixeira). When he comes to pitch, you know that the victory is coming.

He's still catching up on the all-time saves record, but in a season or two, it should be his. He currently has more than 1,000 appearances for a single team, which bodes well for his conditioning and body of work.
Is anybody better? I don't think there is. I'm happy to have been able to see most of his work, and even now, he continues to dominate.
