I'm a graduate of the University of the Philippines. Though my university is not perfect, I still believe that it is the best place to gen an education in the Philippines.

Aside from being the best university in the country, my experiences there as a college student (and still now as a grad student) is enough to say that going there for college is a worthwhile decision.

I too am a graduate of the University of the Philippines, and so is my husband. As early as now, my eldest daughter is only 3 years old, I am trying to "brainwash" her into thinking that UP is the best school there is. I am really hoping that someday, she'll be walking the same halls that her father and I walked on. I'd be one happy parent if both my daughters study in UP someday. So far, I think my brainwashing is working. If you ask my daughter now where she'll go to school someday, she'll answer "UP". That always makes me smile.

My son is in 4th now at UP. I know its not a perfect school, but i can see the intellectual development and improvement my son has shown in the last 3 years in this institution. He is becoming a fine young man, courageous in his own way, independent, and he is starting to talk like one of the popular figures from UP! But I am praying hard for his passing grades this school year.
