I find that I am in the minority when it comes to this, but hopefully there are others out there. I am a huge fan of radio. I know there are a bunch of internet radio sites out there. But the main appeal of radio to me is the tradition broadcasts. The banter of the DJ, commenting on the music that has played. Just about all the internet radio sites out there is music mixed with ads to keep the service free. So what I am wondering is are there any tradition broadcast out there. Fans of traditional radio please help me out. Thanks

I mostly listen to radio "the old fashioned way as well" but the only problem is that there aren't to many stations that play the music I like listening to in my area. I found however that going onto the stations website there is usually a live stream option which works out well.

I still like listening to the radio but no longer for music, I'm not so much into the music nowaday. I will admit to being a fan of Chico and Delamar and have participated in their top ten list of whatever once. They're so funny and I get a kick out of their exchange.

I love listening to radio. Every Sunday, a radio station in our place plays 60's and 70's songs. Those songs are classic and are really great. I love listening to Elvis Presley and The Carpenters.

Just like you, I still enjoy listening to the radio. I get to hear some cool news and information about my favorite artists. I also like the way that some DJ's comment on some good and some crappy music and artists. Their opinions are really insightful. I also like to hear their voices and even some callers requesting for some of their favorite songs. Kind of traditional but nothing beats the effect that radio does as compared to internet radio or something like them.
