Looking forward to the celebration of the Bureau of Fire Protection's (BFP) two decades of existence on August 2, the BFP's commemorative car plates for the agency's 20th anniversary is now available. Being exempted to the number coding scheme is one advantage of acquiring the BFP licensed car plates. Thus, subscriber is advised to comply with its terms and conditions, obey the traffic rules and regulations to protect the name as well as the image of the BFP. The car plate is valid until December 31, 2012. To my dear mylotters, I am not endorsing or advertising the BFP Commemorative Car Plates, I am just sharing the good news. :)

Hmm, so that's the privilege of the BFP commemorative plate. What about those other commemorative plates , do they also have the same privilege as that? But i guess, that particular plate is very expensive. Am ir right?

Actually I got confused, I checked the net and I read that commemorative plates are not exempted from color coding scheme. Maybe, one good thing of having the commemorative plate is that we are able to support our unsung heroes... the firefighters. Firefighting is a noble profession, firefighters risk their own lives and limbs to save lives and properties. In my own opinion, even though said plate won't excuse us in color coding, it is worth buying for.... aside from being part of the 20th anniversary of the agency, we were able to show support to the firefighters. :)

yes, that's true. At least you get to be a part of the firefighters' 20th anniversary. But, how much does one commemorative plate cost?

It costs 2,500 each. It's beautiful. If you want to see the picture of the BFP Commemorative Plate, you may visit their website at www.bfpresponse.gov.ph. :)
