My daughter is quite like you.. there was a time when she only watched Korean movies and Tv series- she really enjoyed it though. I like watching foreign films too, but mostly Jackie Chan's movies and Americans..

I'm a great fan of Jackie Chan too.
I remember decades ago, I'd go to our neighbor just to borrow VCDs for Jackie Chan's movies. He's got real great collection of Jackie Chan films.

@chuyins123 I have a collection of JC's movies and I watch them from time to time, I am quite glad that he still makes movies now- he's been a big star for decades.

Hi Rodella! Welcome to Mylot!
I see you are from the Philippines too!
TV Soaps in the Philippines had really evolved from the Mara Clara series that took years before it ended. They turn out to be so predictable and the villain kept on resurrecting from the grave!
Then came the Spanish soaps where Thalia became popular. What really made it such a hit is it actually ends a lot faster than their Philippine counterparts. It is very fast paced. Fortunately, it somehow influenced Philippine soaps to end in a season or two. No more years to count before the soap ends.
Then came the Taiwan and the Korean series. The K-pop culture has invaded the Philippines. Their series are really not that serious and not that violent. And they really are cute. I am really not a big fan of it but I have been following some of them specially those comedy-love stories. I watched a Korean Movie called "200 pound beauty". It is a very good movie. Have you watched it?
