I notice many new tablet pc in the market nowadays. They offer various advantages and really nice looking and easy to handle everywhere we go.Even some of the new model comes with direct slot keyboard, means they can be turn into laptop in seconds. Despite their working platform and functionality which must be improved to the level of laptop or netbook, their popularity increasing in couple of months..what do you think? Do you think laptop could replace netbook or even laptop in near future?

In terms of having the ability to carry it around without carrying something bulky, perhaps the tablet could replace netbooks, notebooks and laptops. However, if we look into the comfort of typing with it, I doubt it would ever replace an actual keyboard.
Have you ever tried typing there? It's awkward. It's different really if you hear the ticking and you feel the pushing with the keyboard. Not to mention that these types of things can't be used long term because you'll have a stiff neck from looking down.
It's just like how laptops can never really replace desktops. There's nothing more comfortable than using a desktop long-term.

I think that the tablet pc is becoming very popular now as a substitute to the desktop and the laptop. I just think it's so convenient and you don't need to rely on a mouse anymore or that little pad that you get on the front of the laptop. You just use your fingers to touch the screen and that is fantastic! They are probably more expensive than a laptop though and I guess I will wait some time before purchasing one of my own! They will come down in price that is virtually guaranteed!
I love all technology in any case and I like to see what comes out and what is coming out in the near future! I think the future is going to be amazing in terms of new products coming out on to the market. I particularly like robots although I will leave that to discuss in another discussion. Andrew

i think so and this will happen very fast. you see as technology becomes cheaper and smaller and faster, anything is possible. i think everyone would want to have at their disposal a powerful pc tablet any they want.
