the Significance of Self-Love

Some equates self love to selfishness. To me, it is something that we should have and give attention to , also. Amidst our desire to please our family, we tend to forget ourselves, so much so , that we lose the time to beautify our self also. Not only will it please yourself, but it will please the family as a whole. They will be proud that despite your being a busy mom to your children and a busy wife to your husband, you still maintain the beauty that you once have.

We cannot honestly and with loyalty love anyone unless we love ourselves first. It is too difficult to maintain if we do not share our own love with others if our own love is lacking somehow. Therefore I am a very free love giving person and it is not until I am disappointed and or hurt that I can honestly say I do not love, it does not mean I dislike it just means that the love is lessened.

We can't avoid to love our self. Because this is one of the commandments of God. Love yourself as you love others...

of course self love is important. imagine you like to be love by other person but that person would not come to like you if she look at you and you could not even know to care for your self. then it would make the other person think that you could not love her because from what she see you neglect to love your self such neglecting to be hygienic, no ambition and so many defects. but self love is good it is way to improve your self and your status to the community. without self love you could become nothing.

I guess that some people would look at self love as being conceited. you really can not look at it that way and appreciate life. You have to have love for yourself before you csn give and receive love with anyone else.
