i havent been with mylot for over a year now, since then, alot to mylot has changed!!!
i know that some of my old friends are still active and still post comments etc,,
but when i went to sign in, it took ages to get through all the BS that was associated with ads etc..
when i left i was in search of work on the net, that has given me more trouble than its worth!!
i have alot of info for those whom seek it!
but all in all i am wondering why basically mylot sold out!
i thought that this was a purely non-profit org with no pre requsites req.!
obviously not!

Hi fezmen how long were you with MYLOT when you left it
Because by looking at your number of responses it seems you were not here for much time.
Never mind welcome to MYLOT again.
Share your experiences when you were not on MYLOT dear.

Numbers can be very deceiving, Sjvg. For instance, I have been here for three days (or has it been four days now, I can't remember), and my myLot user rating (the number in parenthesis next to my user name) has gone up only maybe eight points or so yet I have been very active each day. If I stay in one discussion and leave many comments within a bunch of different response boxes, then my activity and earnings increase but my user rating stays the same. There are people that have joined after me, have much higher user ratings than I do, and yet complain that they do not reach payout for several months (I generally make it every month that I am active).

No ... no, I did not mean that "numbers are deceiving" as someone is trying to fool others. What I meant was that you cannot necessarily tell how long a person has been here or how active they are from their user rating. Admin does monitor our activity, and myLot is responsible for increasing or decreasing our user rating when we respond to a discussion or a discussion gets deleted, so it is not meant as a deceit.

May be so but how it can be? when every body says MYLOT admin watches us 24X7 then how come people can deceive others. But thats for sure if you jump in to every one's box you will get the benefits. But algorithms here are not easy to understand let us try our best & do ours job.

Mylot has never been a non-profit organization. Bottom line is that if we don't make money, you don't make money.

back then when i did make money through mylot, it seemed very small..
i have no idea what it is now,
anyway im not sure why i had to go through all that BS at signing in at the start and then only to find out that i had (not that i cared and sort of knew it) lost $1.64 i think?
i mainly came addicted to it because of the great personallities that came out of it and very helpfull, sometimes immediate responses!
congrats to the staff at mylot admin!!

Welcome back fezman. It is good to see you here again.
How's life up on the Sunny Coast? Is it as cold at the moment there as it is here?
If you do not have a need to delete your cookies every day and do not log out of Mylot you will not have to go through that process at all. I usually delete all my cookies every few weeks and only then have to go through that process at sign in, but there are ways around it then too. You just open any bookmarked mylot page not signed in, then sign in and hit the back button in your browser. Simple!

The members of mylot community is grow more and more day by day.But the income of mylot community is grow lower than the population of mylot. So the income of mylot community is become more and more less.So our income is less than before. That is just my point of view about your topic

Strewth! Another Aussie bloke my age. You left before I signed up. Hope all's well with your work situation now. Where's Bli Bli? Never heard of it, but then I don't get out much. All this in under 14 hours - you're a real mover & shaker, mate.
My Lot hasn't changed for me, but I haven't been here that long & don't get online much. How much per post did they pay when you started? I think it's about 7.5c a post nowadays. One thing that has changed is the value of our dollar against the greenback. Not good for online earnings.
Welcome back.
