the classes and teachers

Well I guess that is just your personal experience. Well for me, teacher respect us. And for me i really don't usually feel sleepy in class, because to me what I am doing is pretty interesting to me. The only way I might feel sleepy in class is if I feel ill, otherwise from that I am pretty much awake. I think its just you because not everyone has that experience. Or maybe it is just the teacher teaching style is boring. So I really do not know what to tell you otherwise.
