Part time job or working online

Having a part time job in a local mall or nearby shopping area is a good way to earn cash the way normal people do. However, i am stuck in a dilemma deciding whether to spend more time on a part time job or finding ways to earn money online. I have concluded that working online requires the same amount of effort and energy compared to working in a mall. The only difference is things get easier once you're successful in any internet based income. I have pondered over this matter for a long period of time and thus have wasted alot of precious time procrastinating whether to get a part time job or just concentrate online thus, the unproductive stretch i've been undergoing for the past few weeks. I'm only a student however and just want to seek any advice and opinions from the people in this forum since i am quite sure that everyone here is currently earning money online as side income and might have a full time job or be a full time student. Anyway, all opinions and advice are welcome thanks!

My fulltime job is working from home doing call center work. I have a few gigs on-line to make a few bucks here and there nothing major. I would love to find a non phone job on-line.

Hi hailoo
i would suggest you what i did just 2 years back when i was in college
i used to work in night shift job from 9pm-6am then at 7am i used to be at my college and back at home at 11pm then i used to take go to sleep, wake up at 5pm spend some time with my friends and family and then back to work
but my job was a full time one
as you are looking for part time it would not be that difficult for you to continue college and work at the same time and then if you have some time you could spend that time on online site like mylot and have fun online too
don't consider online jobs as part time because we earn very less online if we are newbie and there are thousand of scam around too i do it for timepass now i have a full time jobs and whenever i get time to be on mylot and i here mylotting and also active on many other site to earn money online
just my suggestion

If you want to continue on your studies, i think part time job will suit you. How bout taking a tutorial job, that's my source of income back when I was a student.

I clean houses 2 days a week and once a month I will clean 3 days a week. I also work on ChaCha and I chat here at mylot. I'm trying to find a job online so when my son starts school I can work at home and not have to worry about having to work outside the home. That way I can take him to school and be able to pick him up too. I actually applied to 3 online jobs today. One didn't have any positions opened but they said I could apply and they would let me know if any positions became available. I would much rather have an online job than to have to drive to a job each day.

Just get a part time job. AT least you could put it in your resume later in your career.

There is no point of comparison between both. Online earning is NOT a job, it's a relax, fun, extra money, call it whatever you want, but NOT a real job where you can expect earn a life.
In a part time job you earn real money, you get real experience, medical coverage and a small add to jubilation. The most important is that you get experience, which you can learn to latter get more important and sustainable full time jobs, in the real world. On the other hand, MyLot will not feed you, and your PayPal earnings are mostly useless in the real world too. Online is to have extra money to spare on toys on online stores. Use your free time maybe for surfing the net for money, but please don't leave the real world for it.

My suggestion would be to take the part-time job at the mall, and build up your internet income until it either matches or surpasses your part-time job. The reason I say this is my internet income is crap right now. I wish I had a part-time job to help pay the bills but so far the pickings have been slim, I'm still trying though. As for the internet income, unless you really get onto something good I don't think it's a very good way to make a living.
Maybe it's just me, but I know a lot of people that don't usually make over $200 a month on line.

Hi hailoo,
My suggestion for you is to concentrate on your studies & you will automatically get good full time job & once you get full time job then you wont require any part time job.
If you are still interested in job then you must go with offline job because on internet you will find lot of stuffs offering work & commitments from them to pay you a lot & will make you millionaire but most these sites are fraud and the real sites from which you are really paid for those you need to work hard may be once you start you will come to know by yourself the money they pay for your work is far lesser that the efforts you put in the work.
I have done lot of searching for it but i did not find anything suitable for me.
If you join some sites like this do assure to get all the information first donot let you money go out of your hand because most of the site ask for registration money in the starting for giving work.

I like working online better, but if you can do both, that would be better. I like working online better because you don't have to worry about working for a jerk of a boss and maybe getting fired because he doesn't like you or you talk back to him. Some supervisors were probably hired for their position because the boss like them. It's hard working under a stupid supervisor. Working online, you use your intelligence and skills. No one can knows what you look like, so you don't have to worry aout them not liking you because you're black, or ugly, or Indian, or Chinese, or woman or gay or etc. But if you want to survive in this world, then do both.

Hi Hailoo!
You can do both if you could. But if you still want to choose either site than you may choose any one of it as both gives what you want at the end but slightly different of amount~ That is for sure. You may gain experience and learn things from both way so just make your choice. It won't harm of give any bad effects to your life.
