Does a simple cold confine you to your bed?

I hate it when I have a cold and can't think straight at all.
My head would feel very puffed and I wouldn't want to get off my bed at all.
What about you guys?

I hate catching cold but I get it almost every year atleast once 
. It's so annoying and i don't feel like doing anything too. But it doesn't get so serious that I have to be in bed all day.
