Would you forgive somebody who wronged you, even if he/she did not ask

There is no use of Keeping ill feelings or say feelings of revenge towards the fellow who did wrong to me or my family. I will forgive and move ahead.

I do not easily forgive but eventually I do, does not mean I forget and it makes all well and good again. Simply I try to give myself peace by moving on. Certainly it depends on the nature of what was done but I do not like being taken for granted. One should never expect forgiveness if one does not ask for it, how can anyone forgive if the bad doer does not ask for the forgiveness to begin with. Though I must admit I do have to somehow become sort of numb and release it out of my system.

The point of forgiveness is not for the benefit of the one who has wronged you, but for the benefit of yourself. The point of it is to let go, so that you can move on.

We all mistakes in life. forgiveness is part of the healing process that we must go through. Not forgiving someone who has wronged us only causes bitterness and regret in our own lives as well as others.

It is very difficult to forgive someone specially if you are devastated from what they did. I can still forgive them, I'm not a person who exact a revenge to those people. I encountered a lot of people whom I considered really bad to me, I can't forget what they did, but I already forgave them. I'm just a human, who also makes mistakes.

I surely will coz I tend to forgive people really easily though they hurt me bad. But if someone killed my dear one, I don't know what I'd have done. Since it has never happened, but when I think of it right now I think I'd get so mad I'd hurt him bad too.

Hello green-peas, I don't know if i have the power enough to forgive a person. if you're asking me NOW, i probably wouldn't because i don't have the stamina to. I'd probably waste my life hating that person and hopes one day he or she suffers the same fate. though it's logical that we should forgive so that we can move on, because by keeping the hate it would give us negative impact on our body like heart attack, hypertension or high blood.

Well, no, I won't but it's suggested that we forgive everyone even if they didn't ask. Experts say it's good for the heart. Keeping grudges means containing hatred in us so we have to forgive everytime and it's not good for our system.

If someone has hurt me I will try not to cross that person's path again. It is better that way than having to get into a wordy warfare trying to convince that I have done no wrong. Leave them be and move on.

Same here... Forgiveness is not something I can give easily, so much more if the person who wronged me didn't ask for forgiveness and most especially if that person doesn't appear repentant at all...

my dear greenpeas, human life are very short and sweet and i think everyone should enjoy it. because it never come again. so forgiven is the best method to live the peaceful life.
