I just read an article in National Geographic about the so called "Child Brides" in some countries. Girls aged 15 and below are being married to guys almost double their age. It was an arranged marriage done by their parents which according to them will protect them from being raped as well as to honor their families. It is very much illegal to force a girl to marry at a young age, however, there are still some countries where this kind of marriage is being practice. You guys, what do you think?

This practice has been going on for centuries and, no matter what people say, there's no justification. It's basically selling off young women to fat, ugly, rich dudes who want a pretty wife. It's a form of slavery, in my opinion, and should be eradicated as quickly as possible: free will and free choice to all!

It is illegal to continue like that, but still this is being practiced in many countries sine the ancient time, people should understand or at least made to understand that this is illegal at the same time children are burdened with marriage at young age makes their life bound on this and he is not alone to take care of, this sort of practise is often found in small countries where literacy cant reach them.

I think that this is insane, but we can't really argue with their beliefs. in my country, many women marry foreigners they met in the internet for money. sometimes, i feel like the true essense of marriage is gone. :(
