Water Filter experience

Hi!
I'd like to start a discussion on water filters and find out everyone's experiences on them and what brand they're using.
Are you able to taste, smell, or feel a difference after drinking filtered water?
I've used PUR for a long time, I do taste a difference and I feel better knowing
the water is filtered. But my choices are limited by budget.

I use PUR also. I used to use Brita and then buy bottled water, but my daughter worked for a retirement center and they used PUR and she said it made the water taste good. I tried it and she was right. I don't know how good it makes the water, but it does taste better. I would like to have a system that filters everything out, but can't afford it.

My sister uses Brita pitcher water filter and she keeps it in the fridge. I've drank the water and it is good.
