Have you ever experienced coming to mylot with the intention of being productive and being able to answer more discussions and create as many discussions you can only to find yourself being not in the mood and though the body is willing, your mind is just not cooperating with you. This happens to me periodically and so i try to just answer some discussions but even the simplest questions i know i can participate into, i can't get any thing out of my mind!
Its silly but this happens to me sometimes that i just waste time starting at mylot! Haha

hi chiyosan I really do not have that trouble as i am not too picky and find things to respond to and also I try to keep up commenting on the responses to myown discussions. You need to learn to focus only on
what you are doing and you can break that mind set easily.

Hi Hatley, if I could leave the unfinished detective episodes watching aside there isn't anything could distract me from doing mylot posting I hope chiyosan could focus on what he is doing here. Things wish to do would look nice and easy to cope with if we are in good mood

I think it happens to all of us and commenting to some discussions at times gives you a break from thinking about creating topics. After some time one feels more in the mood. Sometimes offline situations tend to clutter the mind.
Hope it is better now for you as I see you started this two hours ago, sometimes for me, I am a bit slow and then things pick up rather quickly.

I am in an Excellent mood, there are a few times I log in and kind of slow thinking but as soon as I dive in to a discussion it juices the brain cells.

this happens to me a lot of times too. aside from that, while my body is willing and my mind is set, i cannot just get on to mylot i could not use the computer. i have more and more competition, shall we say with the laptop. the kids with homeworks and researches, and now the 4 year old son who happens to be able to do it by himself, from turning on and off the laptop, opening the browser and other applications, and connecting to the internet.

Well, sometimes I logging in to mylot. I don't have good mood and prefer to search and search. Because I don't have any idea to answer those post here. This is happen to me if I have a problem that I don't know the answer...but sometimes when I have a problem. I can do more here because it is the place where I express myself...

Hi Chiyosan, Well it happened me this week, when my family is not there at home and that mentally depressed me of being alone. I was able to be in mylot but unable to focus my mind completely. It does happens!!

Yes, always. There is time when I think I want to say many things but then suddenly all disappeared~ Sometimes I can go blank even if I feel in a good mood to discuss things~ It just like I can't even make the simple words or comments and my brain like fulled with lengthy of words and discussions started by friends but I could not type it out~ If things happen like that usually I will turn off my laptop and go to get some rest or open and browse other sites then come again to Mylot and do it one by one~

There you go that sounds like a good idea, sometimes we do need to walk away for a bit and or another site. Returning after a while gives us a better perspective.

Yeah this happens to me sometimes as well. It actually happens often. I try to respond to as many questions and make the answer as complete and thorough as I can. But at times I just am not into communication and that goes for answering discussions in here. But I at least try really hard to answer all the top ones that are sent to my email. This one being the second on the list!!

It happens to me more times than I want it to. Sometimes it is really hard to find discussions I can give quality responses to. I find myself straining to think too hard and then I give up and maybe go do another maker or even worse, play a game ot two! Sometimes I go for a few weeks like that before I can break the cycle. I am alwasy so happy when I have good, productive days.

Yes often. If the discussions in the digest don't appeal I'll often not come in at all. Its like eating the same food day after day. It can get boring. The mind reflects that boredom and won't cooperate. So I do something else instead. Better to do something else than botch it up here..Enjoy!

I have spare time for online jobs at night. After full day working I am tired too much. I want to post more topics to discussion but I am able to do so. It is our moral duty to reply on respond on our topics. The situation is as you wrote. Body is willing but mind is just not cooperating. But it is job so I have to do it. I like too much my lot and it's community.

often and a lot particularly recently. I would have this resolve to respond to discussions or posts a few and even will myself to answer a few just to get in the mood. To my dismay. But a couple of nights ago was a productive night for me. I hope this night would also prove to be productive.
Have a nice day ahead, chiyosan.

Yes it happens to me from time to time, more often after coming back from work when I'm tired and really don't want to be thinking some "quality" response or anything. For me it's more often my mind who is in the mood, but my body only want a game or a bed to sleep. In those cases, I just keep away from MyLot and at most put a comment or two, or nothing at all. But I don't care that much really, I don't take posting here as an obligation, but just as fun and relax, so if I can't or don't want to post, I will not write anything and go to do something else and come back here the next day.

I feel like that too where I'm just too darn tired so i skim through the threads on my e-mail. Somedays I just don't feel like reading or answering some of them.

This happens to all of us all the time. This is not a new phenomenon. So live with it. I make it a point to start myLotting immediately after coming from work. I am myLotting for an hour or so and then I shall focus on other things.

It always happens to me
sometimes i am in full mood of mylotting then i receive few comment and when i think of further the topic i just go blank
sometimes i try to response even if i am not in mood but then the quality of the post just go haywire i myself find it difficult of what i have written but now i never post when my mind is not ready for mylotting
i do reply after days when my mind is back again on track for mylotting

I'm pretty new here, but I've already experienced this "I don't feel like it" syndrome. I think it's simply over-work for me. I write constantly on several different websites ... unfortunately, I have yet to get rich. Oh well, I keep trying.
Anyhow, I think sometimes Mylot and websites like it are like any other "job" there are days you just don't feel like doing it. Maybe a good day to call in sick? ;)

Sometimes I come here and get carried away just reading. I want to participate because I know it helps everyone, but as you said, some days I can't participate as much as others. I think this is true of a lot of us. That's ok though..we all have those kinds of days..

Yes. Countless times!
It is frustrating sometimes. Joining mylot, our main objective is to participate, impart our knowledge. Not having to contribute makes it super irritating. We had a "block out" of thoughts or something.
Anyway when that happens, I just usually just focus my energy to other agendas. No sense dwelling in that unproductive thought, right?
Happy mylotting!

Yes I find it hard to find the topics that interest me to comment on. I also find it hard to start new discussions! Well being a newbie perhaps I will get the hang of it quickly and be a productive member of mylot!
