are you a soundtrack/tune freak or a song freak?

Just to know for me, that am i the only one who loves soundtracks or listening to tune of song more than a person singing. what you like most in a song the instruments or the person singing or the tune combined instrument. i personally like more action or calm music tunes than a person singing in it. Tunes of the instrument really touches my heart that the person who sings in it. anyway share your thoughts

it will depends upon the instrument to be used and the singer who sill the song,for me i would rather listen to the person who sing like celine dion,and i am more prefer to listen to the instrument such as piano,organ and violin.music is more on instrumental.

For me, I prefer both. I love soundtracks becuase they help me relax, meditate and even eases my insomnia. Somehow, it also makes my mind concentrate and clearer on those tough and busty days. But I also prefer songs. I guess there are also some songs that i cannot get out of head. Some of my songs are not really recent but in my opinion, they are timeless to my ears.

I think I am more of both. I agree with the previous poster. Disney Pixar kicks serious butt with their scores. I especially loved the theme a Married Life in Up. Perfect, perfect soundtrack.
What I look for more in songs is the melody, the lyrics come in close second. I also consider the singer's vocal quality when listening to songs and I believe they do tend to add to the texture of the music.
