Well, nobody is perfect and at some point in your life you will have to do something bad whether you want to or not. If you think about it, we hurt people all the time without realizing it. This world is nor good or bad; is both. I think is useless to think that you have to fear God in order to have a place up above. You should love your god and do what you feel is right without fear.

Just a small fact, it is impossible to not sin. Even if you're a great person and all, we all slip up sometimes right? Second, there should be a small bit of fear involved with being a christian. Fear is lack of security and if we felt secure in every way possible we would take so much stuff for granted. So it's important to have fear otherwise we would sin a lot. In saying that though we should love God with all we have, it's the hardest thing to do really. Following the Christian life is never easy but it reaps the best benefits. God bless :) Sam

It is far better to not sin because we love God than to be afraid of Him and always to be trembling in case we sin. Many people do not understand the meaning of sin. It is not a whole load of rules about things we must not do: it is, quite simply, living apart from God. If God is with us and, whatever we do, we do with Him and for Him, we cannot sin. Live always as a 'part of God', not 'apart from God'.
