If you want a boyfriend what is the criteria

Although I have a wonderful boyfriend for the last 7 years I did want to add that appearance for me would not do it all. See what you see is not what you will perhaps get. It has to do with the personality, care of the person and what they want out of life which pretty much would be for me too. Appearances can be a bonus but we can't simply live off appearances is what I have learned in life.

When I was much younger (high school), I was all about how the looks. Now twenty years later, I am more interested in things like a sense of humor or similar interests. Looks are nice for a while but they do eventually fade.

For the longest time I wasn't sure what I wanted in a boyfriend and ended up dating these horrible guys who didn't know how to treat a girl. But because of those bad relationships I thought long about what I do want (also what I don't want). There are so many things like his personality, sense of humor, understanding, and of course I need to be attracted to him. but he also has to be the kind of guy who would defend me and "my honor"I know cheesy right. But also when with his friends he has to not be afraid to show I am his girlfriend.

In my mind's eye,my boyfriend can not be handsome,not have much money,but he should be careful and love me.Apperance and money should not be the most important things,heart is the real channel.
