I have a script that should have been written last week but I could not bring myself to write it. I'm having a major writer's block. I hate it when this happens. what should I do?

Believe me, I have the same problems when it come to having major writer's block. I have it now as a matter fact with some of the projects I'm working on. It's mostly comes down to a few things: priorities, environment, and your feelings about doing said project. I keep my mind busy with a plethora of them, whether they be plays, opinionated blogs, poetry, or my fiction. Then,if I don't feel like doing any of them, I read or watch something that I think will inspire thoughts in my head and add on and make ideas grow. If there's an idea in my head, I have paper and pen (or my old cell phone/computer w/ the notepad feature) and write it down. If the idea turns into something I can add to one of my projects, I use it and if they don't, I can always add it to a future writing project.
In my opinion, you can never have too many projects to work on and there's no such thing as a bad idea you just can't use.

I also add any vivid dreams or anything that I witness in my life into account. It's always good to add personal experiences, even if priorities, environmental issues, or your feelings are in the way all the time. You can always embrace them along with pushing them aside to focus on writing when you really have something going and your brain won't let up without you putting down on a piece of paper.

Take your writing materials and go someplace to write where you have never written before. I do this when I want to write. Sometimes I go to the ocean or the river or the woods. Just someplace different every time. It breaks the routine. It doesn't even matter to me if it is quiet as long as there are no screaming kids.
Good luck...

I am not capable to give you advise but take it heartily from a fellow mylotters. Just take rest for a while and free your mind from unnecessary thoughts.Take a deep breath ten begin to think about your writing and continue. I am sure ideas is overflowing now. Have a nice day!!!
