What Makes A Woman Great?

Hello friend, I agree with whatever you had mentioned in the post. It was a nice one. I am not that kind of a women who want to extend my career outside my house. I feel the need to stay back at home and look after my husband and family. I think, more than supporting the husband financially, we need to help them and support them with the family and children. Upto a certain age, i believe the kids need that care that a mother gives him/her. They will feel deprived of that unconditional love and affection that a mother gives them. In the ultimate cases, children forget the warmth and the affection that only a mother can possibly give because it was the first warmth which was given to the baby from the time it was formed in the womb! I don't find any greatness in a women if her kid doesn't feel that unconditional love and care she gives her kid. After all, women alone can spread that warmth. There are other things also to be kept in mind. Children should be constantly noticed by the parents, i.e., mother because the father needs to go work, it might sometimes happen that the kid may go somewhere wrong and since the mother is working and she doesn't notice anything, the child might go uncorrected which will not be a problem now, but it'll be a humongous problem when the kid grows up! That day, if you question the kid, all he will have to tell is, you should have corrected me in the beginning itself! Why make way for all these things! I think only women can be the best house makers who can take care of everything. That is why we call women as great! We have already deviated a long way from where we had to be, yet, everything has its own positives and negatives. Whatever it is, women is a women, and Women in a man's life - -I was born and there was a women to hold me - mother -I grew as a child, there was a women to care for me, to play with me - Sister -I went to school, a women was there to help me learn - teacher -I became depressed. Whenever I lost, a women was there to offer a shoulder - Wife -I went down, a women helped me gain my confidence and inspired me to win again - Friend -I became tough with the worldly pressures, a women was there to melt me down- Daughter -I am dying and a women is there to accept and absorb me- Motherland! This is women. I'm proud to be a women!

Hi keshlois, actually there were many great women in history too. i think most of us have heard of Cleopatra of ancient Egypt. She is an exceptionally smart and ruthless woman. It is just that the culture in the ancient world restricts women to life in the household. Even then, there are many stories of smart and outstanding women in the past. The examples of Queen Victoria of England, and the Empress Wu of China, show how women can break the mold of restricting culture.

Women have suffered a lot in the past when society condemn them in trying to assert their rights . But since society have seen and admitted their faults, women now are more free to engage in the field where they are used to be restricted. Women are the true creation of God (Adam was fashioned out of His likeness)as she was taken from a bone, fashioned with care and love and given special strength to live along side man. Women are strong but passionate, intelligent but flexible, firm but soft-hear ted, delicate but hard to put down. Women enjoy the accolade of being great because she is now given the right to claim it after being deprived for a long time. We are still to expect more greatest from this species called woman.

Well, i can say women nowadays are all career oriented. But amidst their career, they still manage to joggle their time for being a mother to their children and a good wife to their husband. I myself, is a working mother. When my child is younger and we live separately from my in-laws, i would rush back home after office hours so as to attend to what i told our maid to prepare for me to cook when i arrive home. Then, after cooking i have to attend to our child, and bond with her. When my husband arrives from work, i would also have to bond with him by us playing with our child. I guess, that makes me a great woman ?

Research shows that women are attending and graduating from university more than men. Their superior social skills helps them finding study buddies. More and more they are getting mangement jobs. Compared to decades ago more women are working now but they still make less than thier male counterparts. Last I was told around four years ago they received twenty-five percent less income. This has its advantages although it will change the gender roles slightly. More girls now a day putting off other life goals like marriage until they have a decent career and education. The kinds of jobs men typically dominate are either being taken or by women or lost to the economy. It denotes intellegence and laughter makes life more bareable. But if they can pay the rent than I have no problem finding a sugar momma and being a stay at home husband watching over the T.V.

hi! I believe women are really great in the past,present and in the future. Without a woman people will not be born. God only gave this responsibility to women.If you believe in yourself that you can do and achieve the things that you desire, you can be consider yourself great, even if others don't mind it. Give yourself a reward. In our present society men and women are almost equal. But there are still a lot of things that women can do that man cannot and vice versa and that makes the individuals great and unique from each other. I can say this because I am a woman myself.

Motherhood is the greatest gift of woman to mankind. It can bring joy greater than anything. While mothering may be tough at times, it comes with its own very special reward. From the first kick in the womb to perfect little toes at birth, your child is a part of you for nine months. Your child is a part of you --- and when you enter motherhood, you will never be the same again - nor will you ever want to be. In my own opinion, motherhood is one of the reasons why woman is great. I also agree with you, with the high cost of living we are facing today, woman should help her husband in order to raise a family. Personally, I am a working mom. My husband is a good provider. But I chose to work to give the "needs (sometimes wants)" of our family and to apply what I have learned in school. I think, woman are superwoman, we are able to multi-task.... we are a mother, a wife, a daugther, a sister, a friend, etc. Woman is great, in fact we are celebrating international women's day every 8th of march. It is a global day celebrating the economic, political, and social achievements of women. :)

I agree Motherhood is great thing for womens. But ancient days men dominating women culture. In Indian history before 1000 years women dominating men, there are evidence for that. But after that in King rules, then men started dominating womens. Later in modern days women outperforming in all the areas like job, art, home works etc. Good sign for women.
