Just want to know your different ideas about the destiny of myLot a year from now and 5 years from now.
Will myLot be the number 1 and high paying social networking sites?
How many members do you think will myLot will have by then?
Will it change or affect the way people socialize on the net specially those who are fond of Facebook?
Are we going to have higher earnings for each activity?
Will myLot be able to pay all its members' earnings?
Thanks myLotters for replying. Gonna use this for a blog about social networking sites that pay.

The future of myLot relies entirely on the users and admins.
If users care for the site and use it as it should be used then admins will get the results they hope for and can progress accordingly.
Yours sounds like a quiz more than a discussion, especially as you thank us for our replies rather than opinions

I apologize if my discussions seems to be a quiz to you. As I have mentioned in the last paragraph of the discussion, I will be using the gathered data (opinions) for a blog regarding the future of myLot and somehow gather inputs on how people interact here as compared with Facebook.

Therefore this is not a discussion? You are not going to comment on the opinions of the responders?
There is no conparison between how people interact here and on Facebook.
This is a DISCUSSION site while FB is a social site.

No, I'm monitoring this discussion and I will be responding on comments, just like what I'm doing right now.
As for me, there are still points of comparison between how users interact in Facebook and myLot although this site is focused on Discussions. Remember, FB has its own discussion features also. Aside from that, both are social networking sites. Aside from that, both FB and myLot have several similar features like adding friends, sending messages, posting photos, interests, etc.
myLot is social site just like FB is a social site too.

Hi itsack it totally depends on MYLOT administration how much it remain active in future.it need to include some things apart from the activities which are done by us the users. it need to innovate some things which attract more & more people to it.
There should be something like a suggestion book/corner on MYLOT i don't know if it has or not where people can give suggestions on the basis of which it makes improvements. And the suggestion which is implemented to be rewarded to attract people. As we all know more & more people join MYLOT fate of MYLOT will automatically shine,

Hello itsack,
Is this a poll or a discussion ? Do you want to discuss about this or just collect some personal opinions ?
myLot is completely different from Facebook : discussions are public, and every member wishing to respond is welcomed. I have some friends at myLot that I would have certainly not met on Facebook : it is a great social network. Earnings are not really important at myLot, and, despite of this, we see regularly plagiarists and members copying/pasting responses just to earn a few cents. I believe that if earnings were higher we will see more of these parasitic members, and that it is better to keep them low.

"if myLot will be containing plagiarized discussions and if its many of its members will just be copy-pasters, it will not reach its goal to evolve as a social network with quality contents"
MyLot will NOT contain plagiarised discussions because they are deleted and the accounts of those who post them are removed immediately.

This is a discussion. That's why you've just responded. The reason why I'm asking is to open or initiate discussion. I will be discussing this of course, if you will be following this on the coming days we here at myLot aims to collect personal opinions as part of learning.
Anyway, I appreciate you concern regarding plagiarists here in myLot and perhaps that will be one of the factor that will surely affect the future of myLot becase if myLot will be containing plagiarized discussions and if its many of its members will just be copy-pasters, it will not reach its goal to evolve as a social network with quality contents.
I asked several questions in this discussion in order for me and those readers of this discussion to know or share their thoughts whether money is will be a great motivator for Internet users in joining and participating social networks. Likewise, I'd like to know if paying members will affect Facebook as one of the dominant networking site in the Internet.

My thoughts are that I am hoping that myLot's success keeps growing as it has been really successful thus far. Perhaps not the same numbers as social networking sites. But figuratively speaking here we can discuss anything under the sun, and no other site has been able to allow members to do so for as long as myLot. Not to mention paying on time each and every month, provided the minimal or more is met.
Therefore, I would like to be here five years from now and be saying the same as today, if not more.
Welcome aboard and hope you enjoy your stay.
