Appropraite Action to Discussion Starter NOT Responding!

Hi visavis! While I undersand your frustration I do not think that there should be any form of penalty for those who have not yet understood what a 'dicussion' relly implies. They are already earning less than those who have understood because they don't comment back and further the topic. Some never understand, some have excuses, some wake up later on in their travels on myLot too. I have two of my own topics that are still unattended. There is a personal reason why I never followed up with one of them and the other... time passed and I took the liberty of checking your started topics. I went to page 10 where there are some from 7 months ago and, at that time, you fall into the same category I think we will just have to bear with them and try and convert them but unless that happens, no worries as it is their loss and not ours.

,They have so many excuses to justify what they do but they can also testified our side , this is my suggestion home, they won't be able to make a new discussion unless they respond back to 3 people at least.For now the only thing we can do is ignore their discussions because they want to earn money if no one responded.Another one and I consider, make responding back much more rewarding to buy paying people who responds back so it's not going to be a one sided discussion anymore. People who make discussion chains shall be a rewarding in any form

i myself are not fast in posting discussion or comment. since not all the time my hands and eyes are here in mylot. if only i have more time i would be glad to make more responses. but surely i would comments back to all who made responses on my discussion as a sign of being polite. i understand it comes as annoying when you post a response a no one get to answer you it is like the feel of being snob by the poster but maybe they have their own reasons..

dear friend, I take note with those mylotters who never respond to their topics and never go to any of their topic again. Just ignore and try not to comment to their topic,so you will not feel bad my friend. I also wonder how we will get to know them,if they don't care to inter-act with us. We are here to discuss and have some bonding with other members. Be friends with them..but,aware of those "hypocrites" and pretenders....they're just around too. have a great day always

Oh, That is probably their habit~Hehe.. That question is always in my mind and I always keep asking the same question to myself why are this people are eager to start so many discussions-sometimes they posted the same discussion they have posted not long ago~ and not bother to reply back or they just give us a very short response that meaningless to me- 'Thank you for your response'.What' that thanks?? Am I in a discussion or just in a poll question like a reporter asking a question to people? I am not answering their question yet as they might be get deleted by admin if it is the same topic and only then I will answer their discussions and will give more than enough respond to them~ Actually I would like to thanked them because I could earn more because they make many discussions here!

I agreed philiphines boy ! I am now willing to start a discussion unless I am having time to reply. You have some members who are there to ask questions and initiate discussions only. when u initiate an interesting topic you will get more responses and you can respond when u get time. May be that is a strategy which people use. I do not want to initiate without selecting the best response. One good thing -- there is no time limit. u can post after best response is selected. have a good day.

Hello Visavis, BRAVO! i admire you for showing off being this angry because it's a reality to some mylotters, specially pinoy lotters. but hey, there's a RANT interest, you could have put it there at first, am actually number ONE ranter but i think you have potential to cheer up and keep on ranting, because mylot does allow you so. OKAY, before we go off topic, let me say that people have priorities off line. like my experience to day, i was supposed to mylot when suddenly the carpenter came, and two helpers because they did some maintenance at home, i didn't get a chance to mylot nor have time to make discussions. i was so frustrated perse. it's hard to mylot now because i am tired and inability to think straight, i had to take tylenol every two to four hours... I do my best to comment on response, you know me, only when Iam available.

Most of us have done that when we just joined but once it gets into our system that commenting on responses is the essence of this site one never looks back. But sadly even those with years of experience are in the habit of just initiating topics and the responses are left high and dry. I have 8 such topics from a single user where I have responded and no comments received not only to my response but to all the others too. With a topic like this, I hope better sense will prevail and we will be able to get all users into the fold of 'hustle and bustle of activity'.
