A parent of one of our working student died of heart seizure in a private hospital. The private hospital was the nearest hospital where the parents of the working student live. The working student is poor and we helped in securing welfare assistance for the payment of hospital bills and burial.
In one of these agencies, a guy asked…The patient was in a private hospital and they were unable to revive the patient who had her seizure inside the hospital?
I saw this question as loaded with meaning. And the meaning is depressing. Like public hospitals are expected to be less effective than private hospitals and second is that, the inability of the private hospital to save the patient raises questions: Is it because they are poor and less attention was given?
These are only assumptions or thoughts on my part but the question posed by the guy really makes one think. Don’t you think so?

We can die anywhere regardless of the place, the problem it seems is the kind of care the patient receives. Even if it is a private hospital if the patient was brought there regardless if he could pay or not the hospital is obliged and is liable to give first aid and stabilize the patient. If unable to pay for hospital fees they could arrange transport for the patient later on to a government hospital.
If the hospital was negligent in giving first aid care and stabilizing the patient because he was unable to afford payment, the hospital can be sued. It is sad nowadays that the practice of medicine has been abused ... meaning that only moneyed people can afford and can have access a good healthcare program.

Hello! You talk about this problem,is a very real problem. In here, have such phenomenon:private hospital compare is responsible, but charge more expensive;public hospital service attitude and not so good.It now looks, whether public hospital or private hospitals are still need the government to strengthen the supervision, can effectively improve.

I'd like to believe doctors and medical practitioners, both in private and public institutions, are bound by their oath to "do no harm." That is why medical malpractice is a real legal battle. Sad to say, there are private hospitals that said to be withholding the best medical care towards less privileged patients. On the other hand, public hospitals are said to have patients who just "lie there... and die there."

hi for my opinion it does'nt matter whether private or government hospital your life was secure.Because i worked in government hospital as well in private it almost the same but the point was, the health workers who was handling the life of people like the doctor's, nurses etc.
In government hospital it is free because it it government who owned that one,and of coarse there are lot of patients, and we had a lot of good doctor's in government hospital as well as knowledgeable nurses and paramedics
Sometimes we don't know or we can't predict our life???
