Hello lotters,
I hope am not being rushed or anything when ever i make a discussion and receives a lot of responses. like every one else here i too got some busy things outside mylot, and when you do see me comment immediately, that means i am home and got nothing else to do. i just woke up early something am not use to doing because i need more time to post.
Don't worry am not the kind of who collects responses and comment on whom i like to comment, i do it on every one. but it takes time, specially when the response is more than five LINES (Phew)
have a nice day

I think there is an unwritten rule to all of us who respond to topics here in MyLot - not to expect to be responded by the discussion starter.
Usually I don't expect it either because if you've been here longer, you'll get the idea that it takes a while for one to go back to the discussion he/she started in order to respond to those who commented and to choose the best response mark.
However, it's different if the topic is somewhat personal and he/she is trying to ask something for a recent decision that he/she would like to do. I find it weird that a person would type out a discussion asking about what to do on a present situation, then you don't get a feedback (neither one of you does). It's like he/she just got the topic off someone else's discussion and started it without the intention of ever really reading what the responses were. Still, I don't really expect much - most especially if the person is obviously having a great time opening topics (most even have at least 5 topics per day).
I am puzzled though when you said that you take a longer time to respond to responses when they have more than five lines. Does the reply need to be longer if the comment was long?

Hello laydee,
I am puzzled though when you said that you take a longer time to respond to responses when they have more than five lines. Does the reply need to be longer if the comment was long? - you know what I do is read the response per line and then try to comment in the same of that response, trouble is not organize though but the word is there.
But of course, i feel shy enough not the wait for the user to mylot, respond and comment.some users do come back to their response and i was inspired by them. it's sad some lotters don't comment on their responses.

This is a site where one works at one's pace. But being a discussion site one expects users to be there and participate. This is not always possible for various reasons. If one makes a habit of not getting back at all then that user stands to lose as gradually that user will be left alone. But those who are regular and if for some reason they delay getting back it is unethical for anyone to point a finger and in such cases one should ignore those slights and move on.

Hello Allknowing,
I have some users who are loosing a lot of responses but not all of the time because of their habit of choosing a response or having no comment at all in that discussions. though the usual option that they are busy and have no time to comment. but some are really lazy to comment or as if they don't have intention at all. have a nice day

Little do they realise that leaving out some responses and ignoring them can be demoralising and will definitely upset those whose responses have not been commented on.

No problem at all. We all have things to do in our daily lives and it takes up alot of our time. I visit alot of websites daily too plus do my duties off of the computer also.

no explanations needed friend, we all got a life besides what they do here, remember responding is not an obligation , perhaps just natural to respond to give your counter point of view or a form of courtesy, people have lives, I also have to go thru a lot of things before I can respond or even start a discussion.

Hello louievill,
More commenting is not an obligation but every single response in my discussion is important to me. people go to my discussions and it's not easy to write an idea for that discussion of mine. it's not easy to make a topic but it's not easy to comment either on my part but it's a challenge. at least i can start a conversation this way

Hi latran, I agree its really tough to reply all of the respondents than too in four or five lines.I have been regularly responding to your topics & i observed it that you take time to reply all the respondents may be you remain busy on your offline work as most of the people.
I too remain very much busy & surprise how people do that they just reply in few seconds once you post your comments i most of the time don't do that. There is fixed time in which if i get the replies i will comment on hand to hand otherwise it goes pending & will be replied when i will again log in.

Hello there sjvg,
Well, not as hectic, pressured and stressful unlike the other lotters out here. some comment on one or two response then leave, then comeback. it's tough to comment on all of them if we don't know how to manage it. i know i got frustrated for making topics and discussions but i learn to manage myself in the end.

Thats good because manage ourself is more difficult than anything else in this world. If all of know that trick & i think world can be the better place.
But please don't get frustrated becuase i personally like to respond on your discussions very often.

Hi there Letran Knight 25!
I don't think that anyone should be rushed into doing anything here in Mylot. I never rush anyone here and neither would I like to be rushed. It's okay to take your time in posting comments and even choosing the best response on your discussions. Whenever I post, I don't really expect a comment unless I asked the topic starter a question and I really don't wait for my posts to be chosen as the best response. It's just a nice surprise when that happens.

Hello nanayangel,
Thank you as well, i wanted to rush actually but there are times that my mind doens't think that fast. well, sometimes i start a questions now a days. as for now am a topic starter and not a topic responder. i don't know which to chose as a best response. have a nice day

No reason to explain as there is no time limit to comment back. I for one do not start many at all for the simple reason I get loads of responses and because for me I like to comment back to all, I try not to do so many.
But everyone has their way and certainly you at some point do comment, therefore no reason to stress at all as they eventually come in.

Hello hardworkinggurl,
I have recognized you to have always been a good responder to a lot of discussions. you even looked like a lot more veteran than I am. that's true, every one has their own way but we have to respect them at least.

I think every here also has the same reasons why they post late comments. I think people understand that there is a world outside the computer screen.
I guess someone really made you annoyed this morning? Hehehe.
Anyway, Happy mylotting!

Good morning Letran!
Explanation accepted, lol! That's one big reason friend why I don't post my own discussion everyday, haha! I don't have enough time to reply on my respondents, what more on your side who got lots and lots of responses! Posting 2-3 discussions a week is what I can do but I don't usually respond at once, takes me 2days to completely reply to all of them,oh my! I envy some who can do it at once like Hardworkinggurl, she has many respondents but she can manage to reply at the same day. Maybe she has lots of free time and she is a fast typist, lol!
See yah!

Hello Mtrguanlao,
Goodmorning! well, i do take my time when ever i am available to comment on all of them. actually, there are times that i don't have time to comment but i do take my time. but recently i feel like that i need to rush myself too. before it takes me like a week for me to respond that quick but now i think am getting the hang of it. mylot has actually helped me become a fast typist.
