I spent one year in college after I went to University. It was a fun year for me and much better than the life in high school. The study in college life is not hard at all and I could always go to the gym and do any sports I like. The college was a good place to meet many new friends from all over the world and the teachers were all funny people . Frankly speaking , I missed those good old days since those days are history of my life now.How about your college life? Any special experience that you would like to share with us?

I had a great high school and college life. My college life was golden. I met many friends who helped me start my adult life. I met many people from other races and cultures. For once in my life, I studied hard and almost made the Dean's List. I lived with my aunt and her bad little kid bothered me all of the time. So I spent most of my time at school where I met quite a few beautiful ladies. I was too shy, so I missed some opportunities to date them. Most recently I talked to a cousin who remembered wrapping the boxes of goodies that my Grandmother used to send me from Ohio. I went to college in the sixties which was a great time: anti Vietnam War, psychedlics, Hendrix and Cream; went to a hippie store and bought record albums cheaper than most people, etc. I moved into the YMCA where I met this big muscular fella who later became a professional wrestler. While at school, since I had acted in a high school play, this girl told me about a Black acting company in Pittsburgh. I went and was given a part in a Ron Milner play. The director of the production company was August Wilson who wasn't famous as a Black playright yet. He took me to a University of Pittsburgh party and warned me that "people don't know you until you become famous." He told me to beware of the "new" friends I would get if I became famous. I dropped out of the company because it seemed to be too anti White. Years later, I would have a class under Ron Milner and August Wilson would be a great Black playwrite. I have so many memories of that time.

Hello again. I have just finished my exam and I have passed it. That was good because I don't have to study on those subjects anymore. For the last ten days , I have already passed three exams and I will got a license after that which is not bad. It is still late tonight and I am trying to do some typing on mylot and there may not be anyone who will response to my comment for the moment, but at least I am doing something constructive and making ....maybe a cent for this post before I am going to sleep in a moment. Well, it's been a long ten days for me because I have to study for my exams and at the same time, trying my best to make some money online and also signed up in many new sites as well. Am I tired? Yes, Frankly speaking , I am very tired. But if I don't win this battle for my life and do my best at all times, I am not fulfilling my duty as a man.Life is just not easy and it always involve tears and struggle. The loneliness of a man is he can hardly find someone whose really willing to support and understand him.A man always need to act like he is strong outside but inside maybe broken into pieces already.Anyway, I hope to live a happy life in the rest of my life but still, in reality it's just not easy at all. Well, that's it for today, and I really want to sleep now. Unfortunately, I am still exhausted because of the exams and pressure that I have been through for the last ten days.Anyway, thank God it is over. Well, have a good night if you are there. If not, never mind.happy mylot anyway.

Congratulations Wildlittlefan on completing and passing your exams. I had some work the past week but stil couldn't get forty hours in. I applied for some jobs. I am tired and also sleepy and not feeling well. I agree with you that it's hard to be a man in this world. But like you, I keep going. It is Friday night here and I usually listen to this Detroit radio station until midnight. But tonight I think I'll go to bed early. Happy mylotting to you too.

It's there where I met my friends who became my family. I meet pretty great souls in there. I was an introvert at the start of my college life, they even teased me "loner" because I don't hang out much with my classmates. I don't have friends from high school in that University, so basically I was taking the new path alone. But these good people, tried to reach out to me, and there I became their friends. I've been to places where I didn't think I could go if I didn't meet them. And it's a lot of fun being with friends, and I am so thankful that I have them. We barely have "bonding moments together" now as we are working miles apart from each other, but when we get to see each other, and get together in one place, it's one big crazy partyyyyyyy!!!! College life is AWESOME!!!!

I never went to college so I can say if I enjoyed or not! I was one of those person's who never planned to get high education. I was not that smart to go on to college! Not everyone is!

I would definitely say that the years that I spent in college were the best years of my life. I had a lot of good friends while I was in college that were completely different from any of the people that I went to high school with. I was fortunate enough to live in a co-ed dorm, and that bolstered a lot of friendships that I wouldn't have had otherwise. With that said, many of the people that I became friends with are people that I am still friends with today.

College or school life every of them leaves amazing and fantastic memories in my life. I can still remember the very first first time I made new friends every years and with them all years there. Learning way that I will not forget. The teachers and all the lecturers are great. I missed those days. But to keep in touch with them is not a big problem as we have Facebook now~

Oh, yes, many great memory. All the fun time in school and all the good times with friends. I still remember I will go to the gym everyday and play badminton with other classmates all the time.It was truly a place of fun and social gathering as well. It was always the fun time during the break and after school. We can just go to have ice cream or tease others. It was the best time for all the young people in their life. I miss it and I miss it very much.Although I don't think we can go back to that times anymore but I can chase it from my memory. It will always be a part of my life and it is something to be treasure about.Look at the young people in today's world, they do know how to treasure the best youth time. They always think that it is a tough time for them. But once they comes out to work in the world, they will have different attitude towards life. My advise for all the young people will be :Treasure the youth time and make the most from it.Have a good day.

I enjoyed most of my college life, however one of the girls in our friendship group got a little bit gobby and was trying to cause trouble literally all of the time between me and another boy in our group. She got her own way, and we ended up not speaking to each other for about six months out of the year. When we were all friends, it was the best time of my life and I wouldn't change it for the world. It's a shame that we don't really realise just what a wonderful time our youth is before it's gone and we don't have the chance to get it back. I wish that I could re-live some of my youth as I know that I would choose to do a lot of things differently.

Well, those were the days we will miss the most. School years was just full of fun and it was the best years for all the young people.I enjoy learning a lot but never on those days. We never treasure our learning time in high school and in college. We will always treasure about it more once we step into the society and start to work in there for a few years. After that, we surely understand it was always a blessing to study rather than work in the world. It is just not the same. Well, I wish I can have enough money to get back to school to do another degree or learn something new. But for now, I have to solve my finance problem first. I hope thing will be much better after one or two years and for now, I can just do my best and hopefully to make a few buck in a week. Well, it is life and we all have to face the difficult time. But one thing for sure, if I don't give up and the sunshine will comes again. Have a good day.

Lol you just reminded about my college life. I spent about three years in my college and have completed my graduation. I am currently doing a vocational course and iam missing my college days a lot. Well during my college days we had a lot of fun i got to meet new friends the best part of it was the project which was given and me and my friends enjoyed a lot by doing lot of innovative things. Apart from that we had lot of field trips and picnics that we enjoyed a lot I seriously miss my college life and think that wish that i could take my time back but life is life and have to face new challenges as they come in life.

There weren't really exciting things that happened in college.
It was the same school-home routine for me. I happen to be in the same company of friends who also do the same so I think it was just normal.
I just focused on my studies. Made the dean's list for 2 years.
Never had a boyfriend, not by choice. It is that there are no choices to choose from then. Been drunk on some occasions, did smoke a little, but never tasted any weed and never got pregnant. Mom would have freak out if ever I had. I never gave my mom any headaches, only things that make her one proud mama.

I am currently in college now and our school will be starting exactly tomorrow. So far, my first year in college was really great. I had the best moments in my college life and I really love it. Tomorrow will be my first day for my second year of studying in college. So I guess I would be happy again, meeting with teachers and friends.

In my college, study stress is smaller than that in hidh school, but I think I achieve less than in the high school. Moreover, I'm aimless everyday and don't konw what should I do in the future.

They say it's either the best time of your life or the worst. For me it was the worst. Classes were easy, but I had a lot of distractions outside of classes that made it difficult. Money issues, health issues, friend/relationship issues, and other social issues. The worst part for me was falling in love with a girl who had 2 boyfriends at the time I knew her and all I was to her was a friend. It was so depressing.

High School life was so different and homely but I cannot say I enjoyed college days, where there were students from different High Schools and I felt out of place and insecure.

I enjoy college life more than when i was in high school.
In college, you are on your own, as long as you study and comply to the requirements of the professor. While in high school, since i studied in an exclusive school for girls, our actions are restricted.
It is in college, when i met lots of friends, boys and girls, even years ahead of me. It is one phase of life really worth remembering, so much so, when my friends and i meet, we share stories endlessly and laugh at our college "mishaps" at school. .

Haven't been to college yet but pretty excited to be a college student next year . I mean there are some emptiness in me because I'll be done with school this Summer but there are excitements as well for the new beginning. I'm having the days of my life in school and i hope my college life is the same, or even better

I am missing days in college. However, I spent college days not so efficient, I complain everyday. Then when I was senior I realized it is the best place ever been, even now I think it is the best time when at college.
