So when cats move house, do they normally take a day or 3 or more to leave and explore?..I`m getting seriously worried...my boy has been missing since yesterday mid-day :(

If you have just moved house, then have you checked your old house to see if your cat has turned up there? My auntie had a cat years ago and thought that they had lost it, but then they got a phonecall from the new owners of the house to say that they'd been trying to get in contact for a while and the cat had turned up at the old house! You should allow the cat to stay indoors for a while to get used to its new surroundings, and then it should be okay.. but just be aware that it is a possibility that it will be at its old house.

i dont think so becoz my pet cat leaves the house, and then came back after a while maybe someones got your cat... but sometimes has this attitude of leaving when they grow old and will never got home again... but i wish that your cat will be back soon.

if you move, you shouldn't let the cat out for several weeks

Oh no, I hope you found him soon. You shouldn't let him out for awhile when you move to a new place. It's better to let him adapt before you release him and he'll recognize his new place.

My neighbor lost a cat when he moved here, he thought it couldn't be found. But guess what, the cat somehow made it to his new house. I think it because the bond between owner and pet. Don't worry, If you love your cat, he will come back, sooner or later.
