Hi there I am a 19 years old and I wish to grow taller. I've been told by doctors that guys can grow till the age of 21 years old and that I really hope is true as I am desperate to grow taller. I am only 5 feet 6 inches and am really embarrassed by my height. Can you please tell me ways to grow taller now or do you think its already impossible?

Sometimes genes can have a big role in how tall a person is. A girl and boy usually continue to grow from 14-16 years old, and there is an acceleration of growth as they hit the peak of puberty to 3 inches for girls and 4 inches for boys. Most growth in any gender will be complete at 18-21, but girls usually is slower and at this time epiphyseal plate will stop his elongation due to ossification or hardening of the bone.
