Any Site That Pays Well for Article Writing ?

I would like to know if there is some site that pays well for writing articles. I would prefer a site that pays a flat rate per article than a site that gives us share in adsense revenue or stuff like that.
I can write articles on day to day issues and on general health. It would be great if I can make some money writing on these topics.
Please advice. Thanks.

I personally write for two different sites and really like both of them. I have been with Assocaited Content for a couple of years now and I also write for Triond. Both are good sites for me and I make a decent amount of money for what time I spend on them.

I am also trying to have one article writing site where I can just write one or two articles daily and get paid for that, but the sites listed by our friends there are constraints that sometime your work will be declined..and at freelance site bidding is a big problem.so now just writing my own stuff for my own blogs and sites.my experience with reviewstream, triond, gofreelance, get afreelance, etc is not good and not having time to test others because you see if you are onto many things this will not work for you if you want to write than you have to limit yourself to writing sites and writing only and you will not be able to indulge yourself on other streams of income.. so for the time being till I set one automatic income stream for me I have kept it still and start working when I reach my set target.

You could try project work. There are several sites that offer outsource work. Your English has to be excellent, though. Pay isn't high but it's a lot better than some listed on this thread. Good luck.

Demand Studios can pay around $15 an article. Love to Know pay $20, Bella on Line pay $10 an article, if I remember correctly. Bright Hub pay $10 and an ongoing income.
I've just signed up to Bright Hub and have been meaning to sign up with the others and see how it goes.
It's also worth looking at magazines online and seeing their guidelines and how much they pay.

There aren't many article writing sites available for Indians out there. I am currently writing on reviewstream which is not well worth the time after they have reduced the payrates. Moreover it pays for writing reviews and not articles. I came across a site Indianblogworld.com which pays for writing articles and the payrate is also Rs 200 per article (yes it is for Indians!). But the catch here is that for getting qualified for payment you must get your article published in the Headline section which doesn't usually happen. I am not sure about the authenticity of this site too since I haven't yet qualified for payment. Other than these two there are sites like assosciatedcontent and other such but I am not a part of those sites so can't say much. Even I would also like to know about the type of sites that you have mentioned.
