Who did your team pick this year? Generally, pitching trumps most of the top picks, but considering that there is no clear-cut number one, who would you want to be your team's first round pick?
Also, do you believe that this pick could transition well into the majors?

I didn't even know the Draft took place already. I think it takes awhile before baseball prospects make it to the big leagues. Only a select few go to Major Leagues right out of college. I'm a White Sox fan anyway. All our draft picks and prospects end up getting traded by an idiot general manager.

I know. I just read about it from MLB's website. What I don't understand is why they even hold the draft in midseason? Is there no way to do it during the offseason, like the NBA does? I'm a Yankees fan, and I share the same feeling as the Yanks no longer believe in drafting it seems.
