people hate others because there is a problem of others. people will not hate others if there is no problem.

WELCOME TO MYLOT.
One hates another because
1) First person thinks too high of himself in such a way all others are not good in his eyes.
2) first person feels he is so inferior that he will not be able to vibe with all others.
3) first person may feel he is SOO RICH that others are nothing.
4) first person may feel that he is so POOR that he cannot talk to others.
5) first person may be feel he is very intelligent whiles others or not --the reverse also is possible.
let us see what others tell. have a good day.

Oh that's because some people lack respect for others. They lack sense of gratitude and appreciation. All they think about is themselves. I don't know why there are those kind of people. Unfortunately we have that kind of person somewhere around here.

I don't think anyone knows why people hate on others. I believe some people just don't care how they treat other people. I believe you should treat people the way you want to be treated.

People hate others because it is easier to hate than to love.
It might be because a person had done something bad to them or it might just be because of other personal issues like insecurity and pride.
Most people want to be accepted but sometimes you will find that acceptance from others are hard to come by and so if you ever find other people who are loving and kind then hold on to them as they are one in a million and it's hard to find people like that anymore.

hi sua I guess the reasons are as numerous as the number of people who do the hating. its so sad as if we could all be content with what we have and grateful for it we would be much happier. when people start envying others because they have more things then jealousy and envy and meanness spew forth. Really happy people seldom have even half ot the things others feel they need to be happy and those people are content with what they have and are grateful.this contentment leads to Peace homes and if this peace can spread to the whole community we have a peaceful community. here on mylot I have met and become friends with people from all over the world and I have yet to have any of them show me anything but kindness and compassion. if we as a mylot community can all of us more or less be happy with each other and at peace, why could not this work between countries too?

There can be no peace so ong as one country proposes that they invade other countries that are predominately a different religion and make slaves out of the people, especially the women.

Hate is a disease, and it causes other diseases as well, eg High BP!!
There are professional haters out there, and they enjoy hurting others, and they call it "Freedom of Speech". :) Its just the way it is. I believe, humanity is immature yet! Lets hope for the best! Peace and Love to All, hate for none!

It can be peaceful. Get rid of people. Seriously, hate will always be part of the human condition. Discrimination, misunderstanding of other cultures. I myself suffered from the wrath of another culture. I said something that Europeans consider an insult. Who knew? She was mad at me for weeks. The word silly has an enormous negative effect on Europeans.

We hate others for reasons we alone know why. But mostly we hate others when they don't meet our standards. Or we hate others because we are jealous or envy them.
Should we learn to love and accept each other for what we are, this place would be a better place to live.

People fight for love also...love of country, love for ideals, love even for their fellow man...some believe they have answers that will bring peace to others as well as themselves and wish to force those answers on others, some believe that they can save others by forcing them into a belief system, some wish power, some wish glory, some are fearful...
Most of it all is not inherited biologically but rather inherited by the ideals presented by others and adopted by still more...
Once people fought for life, food, resources, land...later they began to fight for ideology.
Some believe their ideology is mandated.
Too many wish to impose their rules and systems upon all others.
We've a small planet, the resources are limited, factions will wish the resources other factions hold.
It's the nature of the beast.

Changing a mindset...have you ever noticed that when someone comments about the weather, at least one person will disagree with the general consensus? It may be that the one person claims it is too hot, too cold, too wet, too dry. The only reason for this dissent is for controversy, a small attempt to change the mindset of at least one other.
When a group can't concur on something as simple as the weather, how can we expect an entire world to concur on any of the complicated issues we face as a planet?
Christians believe they have the answers, that by spreading their version of the truth all will be solved, Moslems also have this belief, as do other religions. Then there is the issue of 'the trains running on time', economics, resource sharing, finances, freedoms...
Those who hold power have no wish to give it up. They thrive on it, covet it.
It isn't people like you and I who create the strife, it's those who can not seem to live without it who promote it and their followers have been disenfranchised and disillusioned by life, that they use to their various ends.
People seek a better way, and when someone presents something and spend enough time and effort to convince those people that what they are presenting is that better way...the result is inevitable.
