What do you do when you get tired or bored of the sites you visit?

I enjoy Mylot and the other sites I visit on a regular basis but I am getting tired of them. What do you do when you get tired of the sites you visit? How do you find other ones? I have kept a list of possible ones to check out but even they don't seem to do the trick. Any ideas?

I have not found any other site as interesting as mylot. When I start feeling bored after mylotting, I either swtich to reading or watching TV. Else, I make a phone call to someone to talk to him/her and now about his/her well being.

Hi celticeagle, I usually visit to sites which I can acquire info and knowledge as well as have fun once I get online. Not all the sites serve their respective purpose well with what are available there at the same time. I would leave it alone and go to sites which interest me then. After I feel bored with other sites I would like to revisit it again
Happy posting

I feel that way other times and what i do to cure my boredom is to watch movies online and then when I am ready to work again, I will check on my list of sites, either I will go to face book or you tube. I only have mylot for my earning site so, I have no other place to go to earn and enjoy at the same time.

Thanks for sharing. That is rather unusual. Most have more than one.

I find if I get tired or board of the sites I visit on a regular basis, I step back from them and take a break. Chances are they aren't going anywhere anytime soon (depending on their popularity) and after you've refreshed your mind you can check on them. However, it sounds to me that it might be more then simply getting board of the sites themselves. If checking out other websites isn't as appealing to you either, then try taking a step back a moment and think for a second.
Perhaps the problem is you're spending way to much time online and have fallen into some kind of rut. Try finding some outside activity to break up your routine and limit your online activity to checking your e-mail and conducting online business such as paying bills. By limiting your time online you're not bogged down and there is a break in the cycle. Not only is it healthy, but it might help you out of your rut.
I ended up forced to do the same thing. And, let me tell you limiting my time online has done wonders for me. I hope it'll do the same for you.

I think a break is called for. I know I am spending too much time online because that is about all I do. If I was well maybe I wouldn't be on here so much. Oh well.

I will definitely not delete them from my bookmarks, if I really like a site but I'm feeling bored with it, just leave it for a while, maybe some days, maybe months, but at a some latter time (if the site is good) I may get interested in it again. In the meanwhile, I would find another sites to spare my time, or simply surf the net somewhat less than before and use my time in something more interesting.

I keep a list of ones I have found and so I don't forget them. I may not get back to them for awhile but, usually at some point I will. I find the internet is such a learning experience I always find something of interest.

if i get bored i would just find a site where you can download movies, or games or maybe watch movies while it is downloading. that is what i do most of the time but it gets soooo boring, i will just log off from the internet and play with photoshop, i love experimenting with my photos.

Well most of the website that I visit on a daily basis are those from my job which I am able to earn money from. I often think that I am getting bored of them, but then I remember that a job doesn't always have to be fun, and it's just something that has to be done really in order to make a good deal of money to ensure that my family have a happy and comfortable life in the future. If I find that I am getting frustrated about my work, I will take a walk outside to clear my head and then come back to it later; as I am just not productive when I am feeling stressed for any reason.

If I get tired of the sites that I usually visit I sometimes visit a webring, because that gives me the chance to find new sites about one of the topics that I am interested in. I have found many interesting sites that way. Sometimes I get a little tired of visiting sites where I "just" read the content and then I usually try to find some people to talk to. I like to chat and I also like to exchange long emails with my friends. I have many online friends and I love talking to them.

Hmm...When i get tired just plug out the wired of the pc and just go relax or sleep or rest. It's pointless to do anything when you're tired because you are unaware what you're doing or just too tired to enjoy stuff. When I'm bored i just go find something to do and it's not surfing the web or anything! but something meaningful such as something that interest you. Your hobby? your favorite thing to do.

I do not know, in a way I am there right now. Mostly, I just have a lot of other things on my plate right now. I am working off and on the next few days, and I am almost too tired to be here. I have enjoyed picking up a few cents at microworkers, but that is not social. I do not always play games, so on the sites that have games I am playing for a change of pace. Other than that, I do have some creative stuff I have to get done, putting new seat covers on my outdoor furniture. I have made some new friends here recently and that helps as well.

Always nice to make new friends. I guess it also helps to get up and leave the computer from time to time.

Off the computer I clean the house. We're moving my daughter out of her room and into her brothers old room and that is a project in itself!!
Online I stumble. Its a website called StumbleUpon. (Altho there are ways to earn with it)Stumble is not a website where you make money. You pick out things that are your favorite interest and they take you to random websites that involve your interests. They show great sites that a person might not find other wise, The cheeseburger cat site if good too.

I have heard of Stumbleupon. Haven't been there in ages. That sounds like a great way to find some cool new sites. That's great! Thanks.
Cheeseburger cat site? Hmmm.

Sometimes it happens to me, I just sit at the computer and don't even know what site to open.
What I regularly do is, I watch funny, amazing, likeable (at least to me) videos on YouTube or other sites over and over, everyday, some of them I simply don't get bored with.
But when I really, really, don't have anything else to watch but would still like to check out something, I just watch some online movies.

Stumble Upon!!! I know that it has already been mentioned, but it really is a great site. You can install the toolbar so that you can stumble just by hitting a button and you can set it to only go to videos or photos or other things if you want. It is really great. I have discovered some amazing sites by stumbling.
