Please tell which one you prefer, and more importantly why.
My opinion is that PC is and has been the better platform for shooters,
primarily because of it's superior controls. The Wii-mote finally gives
consoles a competitor as far as controls but it's mediocre graphics, lack of
HD, weak online and casual approach keep it from being a true competitor.
If the 360's standard controller had a built-in pointer like the Wii-mote,
I would honestly say I'd rather play FPS on the 360. But as of now,
PC remains the king of shooters.

Hi, Jinrai
The first ever first-person shooter game appeared in PCs are Wolfenstein and Doom. I guess playing an FPS in a console is okay for me. But if I were in a competition playing a fast-paced shooter like Counter-Strike I would prefer to use mouse instead of a controller.
Why? Using a mouse gives you more control and precision, your using your entire arm rather than your fingers as oppose with a controller. You could even vary the speed and motion of the mouse, not possible in a controller. However, you can't beat consoles in a fast-paced third person games that uses so many combination of keys like God of War, Assassins Creed, Prince of Persia, Mortal Combat, Tekken, etc...
It really depends on your purpose.

I agree with you, every platform has its advantages.
Consoles are simply better for more arcade like games,
beat em up, platform. The old school genre.
PC's arent good at a lot of genres, but shooters is definetly
one where it is better to play with, just like you said.
The efficiency of aiming :)
Have fun gaming!
