if Solar Flares are the possible reasons for the end of the world, then, the world earth still lives after the burning.... all humans will incinerated and deleted.... but there is a new species will appear to dominate earth.... a new species that can think smart.... more smarter than dinosaurs and humans.... i am doubt also that more cockroaches will survive because these insect can tolerate even level 9 of radiations....

Yes, there are solar flares. There have been for the entire duration of life on planet earth. 2012 though, is no different than any other year. When the end comes, nobody will know the date and nobody will know its coming. For all we know, it could come even sooner. Of course anything is possible though, we just have to live our lives like they matter and cherish our moments. As far as signs and all that other mess, many people give into the hype and imagine what they want to.

I wish nothing serious happen in 2012. Right before 2012, there're a lot of prophecy about the end of the world, and all of it are not proved. So now, I don't want to think that 2012 is the end of the world and stuck in worry.Let time tell the truth and knowing what happen in right moment.

I really hope its not the end of the world seeing as i would never even graduate school... all 13 years of my life wasted on learning for nothing at above that keeping a 3.5 gpa average which is pretty good seeing as taht is like mostly As with a few B s in math... I hate math but back to the subject there is a really cool site i cant remember the name of im sure if you good animation of what will happen on 2012 then you will get it but there is a site that shows 4 different things that could cause the world to end in 2012 i really hope it doesnt happen but some of the theories left people alive? so not everyone will die possibly there might be some survive and repopulate depending on what theory is correct.
