Does jogging make you slim or make your legs big?

I wonder, I see some joggers, they are not slim at all.In fact, the only muscle they have is around the legs and thigh. Do you have proof that jogging can really lose weight? My husband is into jogging and I'm worried that he'll end up looking like those joggers.

You Generate Body Heat When You Jog. That Burns Off The Calories as You Sweat. Which when High Enough the Fat will come Off and the Weight will Drop. The Fat will Turn to Muscle. You can Regulate Your Diet and Choose How much Leg Fat You want to Lose. How much Muscle You want to Gain on any Body Area. Nothing Wrong with Muscular Legs but I don't Think He will Look like a Body Builder after Jogging for a Long Time.

I usually do jogging before for about 10 rounds but it is really not effective for me even if I am having my diet.It just make my legs look bigger so I quit jogging and just do dancing.Jogging will not help me to perspire a lot compared to dancing so I better change my workout routine to dancing than jogging.

Aside from the fact that jogging is a great cardiovascular workout, it is a best routine to burn calories. The activity itself produces body heat, thus, helping in shedding off fats and extra pounds off your weight, and extra inches off your waist.
Incorporate jogging with proper diet, discipline and enough number of hours for sleep.

It depends whether you have fat or not on your legs. If you do, then your legs will get smaller as you get muscle to replace it, however if you do not have any fat then your legs will get larger as you gain muscle instead. There is no need to worry, as you can just start to jog and then stop jogging if you don't like the effect that it is having on your body.
If that is the effect that your husband wants however, then it isn't really your decision to tell him how to look. Having muscle is much healthier than having fat, so you should be happy about the fact that he is attempting to make himself healthier.

Hi!
Jogging will not make you slim, what you saw is true that those people who jog a lot will only make their legs and thigh muscle stronger but it will not help in their upper body. This is because you only use you leg and thigh muscle when you jog whereas you upper body muscle actually did not really work. To be able to make your body slim, you need to combine jogging with other kind of exercise like sit up and weigh lifting and that will definitely make your whole body get exercise and burns off all the fat at your whole body instead of just at your leg and thigh.
