Ever get tired of mylot?

Do you always enjoy spending time here in mylot?
Are you not bored or don't you find this site tiresome?
I am just asking this question out of curiosity and I don't intent to offend my fellow mylotters. I am just a month old here and I am wondering how do these veteran mylotters survive in this site for so long.
I can guess that these "veteran mylotters" are really having fun here and they must be earning a lot too. But did they ever experience boredom here?
I mean they say that everything has its "saturation point";
so did they ever had this point in their mylotting years?

Hello there denikurniadi!
That's one great spirit.
Maybe I haven't learned yet to love Mylot.
I do agree with you, when you love doing something, you'll never
get bored doing it.It's good for you that you have plenty of friends here,
probably you won't really get bored when you have so much friends who accompany
you here. I wish I can have many friends here too.
And yes, I will always aim for success!
By the way, you might want to share some tips on how to gain many friends here?

You have some friends now and you can poke aboutintheir profiles and get to now them better or add/change something in your own profile.
I am never bored here. I have been here over 4 years and I'm here most days. Some days I am posting a lot and some days I am just clearing notifiers or PMs or going through profiles of searching through older topics or.... oh keck there is just so nuch to do that I can't ever imagine being bored!

Hi again mysD!
Honestly, I am not really tired yet, I must have changed my question into like this;
"Ever get frustrated with mylot?"(hehe)
The truth is on my first few days, I was really so excited joining the discussions and discovering how mylot works, but eventually, I get so disappointed.
Maybe I was expecting too much, right?
Well, there was this one time when I posted something, and I replied to all those who made comments under my post but I didn't get any credit for it. The big number beside my name never moved up and so is my earning.
So, I am beginning to think that maybe something's wrong with my posting or comments.
Or maybe I haven't seen yet what's obvious here?

I don't find it tiresome whenever I'm on mylot.Whenever I have free time I always spend it here and I do it everyday.Aside from meeting new friends globally , this is the site for sharing opinions and experiences, not to mention the rewards member's earned through this process.I like it here more as compared to other sites.

I hope one day I'll see mylot in the same way as you do.
But true enough, I find mylot--a lot better than any other social networking sites.
I think this site is a great place for worthwhile discussions.
I am not at all bored here.
Perhaps I am just curious about what do some mylotters feel about this site.
And I am just glad to read your post. Thanks.

I do agree with you.
Mylot can help our body relax a bit but never our mind.
The discussions are sometimes very challenging that you forget to relax your brain.
and it's really these mind-boggling discussions that add fun to mylotting...

For me I am more frustrated than bored. I try very hard to only make comments and discussions that are valid in order to be paid. However I have not made very much money yet. Yesterday, for instance, I spent a lot of time on mylot participating in different discussions and made almost no money. The rules regarding how mylot pays you are sort of vague and I have not been able to figure it out yet.
Anyway, I don't think it is boring, but maybe that is because I am still trying to figure out what I need to do. Hang in there friend.

Hello amango83!
Yes, you got it right.
Actually, I just stated in one of my replies that I should have changed my question into something like this; "Ever get frustrated with mylot?"(lol)
I think it's not really boring here. Actually this site can be very challenging for new mylotters like us, right?
The only problem is we tend to expect too much. I am telling you now that we are
actually on the same boat! Sometimes, I get too disappointed when I don't earn much despite the time that I have spent here. But then eventually, I try to change my mood and continue mylotting again.
Like what I posted in my previous reply, I think mylot is really for fun and not for the sum...don't you think so?
I'll do hang around here as long as I am enjoying myself...see you!

At this point I am perfectly ok to spend hours on mylot everyday as I have just joined this family few days ago. Everything in mylot is fresh to me and I like to respond to topics in different fields. There are always new discussions started by people around the globe, and I usually read them and the comments one by one even I may not respond on every posts.
Maybe sometimes I get a little bit (just a little bit) bored when I think the discussion topics are boring, or say they are not worth discussing at all. You know there may be some guys really cant think of ways to make more money here, so they started some meaningless discussions. But generally speaking over 99.99999% of mylotters do raise a lot of meaningful and interesting discussions and I enjoy responding to them and earning money at the same time lol.

Hello Porkchopchop!
That's good to hear.
I think we just need to carefully choose only the topics that are really interesting for us, otherwise, we'll get bored and might fall asleep reading the comments.lol
And yes, I do agree with you that most of mylotters post meaningful and interesting contents here.
I think most of the people who signed up here are not only after the money, rather they are also looking for some information and worthwhile discussions.
I hope you'll continue sharing your nice ideas with us...
Happy mylotting and enjoy earning too!

Hi there!
Welcome to mylot!
I think Hatley here has given you all the answers that you need.
You see, I am new here too, and I not yet well-versed with this site.
But I can assure you that there are a lot of nice mylotters here who are willing to guide us and share their knowledge about this site and about other topics as well.
Good luck to your journey here, friend. Count me in...

I joined myLot over 3 years ago, and I am certainly very glad that I did. MyLot is a very unique place to meet and make friends with wonderful people from countries and cultures around the world. The time I can devote to the site gets limited some times with my full-time job taking most of the hours on work days, but I always enjoy staying active in the community.

Hello greenline!
That's great to hear.
I can see that those who have joined mylot years ago never regret that decision.
They keep coming back in this site for the reason of fun and friendship.
I hope I can also experience that fun here and gain a lot of friends too.
Thanks to those who have been active here for so long...they're the pillars of the this site-an inspiration to all new mylotters!

It's funny that you call the active members of mylot as veteran mylotter, that just made me feel old in an instant!
Anyhow, as a veteran mylotter (I think you would consider me one by now), there will be times when you would feel that it's tiring to do mylot. The good thing about this site is that it doesn't stop you from resting or killing yourself typing away your thoughts.
Of course, like any other writer or author, there will be what you call writer's block. A phase or time when the writer cannot continue writing on. It seems the mood isn't there and the thoughts are not flowing as they used to do. When that happens to me, I just stop.
I think it's important to rest your eyes, fingers from typing and mind. If you will not do so, you will find yourself blabbing most of the responses and end up frustrated because you can't seem to get your expected earnings.
As for me, I take it easy when I do mylot. I do not record the number of responses I do, neither do I count the number of discussion started per day. Believe me, I do not know how these people do it (counting the responses, making sure that the comments are more than 5 lines - I don't know why!? and starting discussions like there was a rampage of thoughts in their brains!)
Hehehe.. Perhaps it's because I am here for relaxation as well as earning. That's what keeps me going. I do not respond to topics I have no idea about, neither do I respond or bother to read discussions that are utterly negative and too much ranting. I choose topics well, and when I find something appealing, I read it first, think about what to say and type my thoughts away.
Further, if I don't see anything interesting in the site. I go to other sites or do something else that is well productive.
As for saturation point, I don't think there is such here. Why? because unlike chitchatting with someone online, doing Facebook posts and games, or even watching television the whole day this site pays for your thoughts. You will have fun here talking to people through posts, you could express your thoughts and have fun just expressing yourself - and the best part, you are paid!
You will enjoy it here if you like typing and sharing your thoughts like me. I type as fast as I can speak so this comes very easily for me. So before I make a long novel out of this topic, just remember one thing: do not do something that you don't like to do, it will only leave you tired, bored and frustrated.
Have a great MyLot experience!

Writing isn't an impossible dream. You just need to have a lot of practice, you can do that here in mylot. Just don't take the theories of writing forgranted. Remember to use proper word grammar at the same time spaces. You can mimic the writings of people here that you find interesting. Take note of how they use words and how they present their thoughts.
Soon, you'll find yourself ready to write something that is longer than a response. For now, just practice and enjoy your time here in MyLot!

Hi there laydee!
Glad to meet someone like you here.
Actually, I just picked up this term "veteran mylotter" from one of the discussions
here. I think the active and old members of this site are called that way because like the veterans, they too have this considerably long experience, making them more knowledgeable and skillful and thus must be regarded with high respect.
Anyway, thank you so much for your valuable insight.I do value it.
You know what, I've always wanted to become a writer, but I guess it's not for me. Nevertheless, I'll just make use of mylot as an avenue for my "impossible dream"(lol).
Have a great day!

I am far from being a veteran but I will admit there are days when I feel I just don't have the energy to participate here in mylot. There are days when I just don't want to think, and to me myLot is a thinking place! =P But after a number of days I usually get past that lazy phase and get back to mylotting. =P

Hello moirai.
Hmmm, you're one of the few who posted this kind of reply.
I think we all do get tired some times
and it really depends on each and everyone of us how to deal with this feeling of laziness and how to overcome those lackadaisical moments.
Anyway like what you said, it's all but passing...
Hence, we can immediately spring back to work and enjoy mylotting again.
Who knows, before we knew it, we've become one of the veterans too..
Will that time ever come? (lol)

shengcruz no I do not get tired or bored as this is where a lot of my best mylot friends are and where your best friends are there is usually some fun of some sort going on. Maybe a friend is in need of some sympathy and I c an help no its not boring as it changes all the time. Easily bored people often are very shallow people who have not learned
the nuances of life, have not seen the various shades of colors in our
lives and see only black and white. Those who are curious and up for
learning new things seldom get bored here.As far as they say goes they are always saying things which does not in itself make them truth. Anyone can say anything and certain people will just swallow it as truth without checking its validity.

Hello there Hatley!
Oh, you're lucky to have a lot of best mylot friends here.
I wonder how long did it take you to earn such valuable friendships.
I hope one day I can also meet real friends here.
and I can just imagine how fun and exciting it would be to have plenty of friends here, sharing ideas and exchanging thoughts, helping and encouraging one another.
That makes me think that mylot is such a home for friendly and nice "invisible" people.hahaha
Anyway, I have noted your opinion about people being blind about the truth;
for me, we should not believe everything that we read. Reader's discretion is a must, including in a safe site like this.
Thanks! I don't really get bored reading great comments from people like you.
Have a nice day!

I may be tired sometimes, but never bored of Mylot because you can find such a huge diversity of topics to talk about or you can come with new ones that I don't see how one can be bored, but there are indeed moments moments when I feel tired and uninspired and I try to do something else, visit other sites, but eventualy I always return to Mylot simply because thre's no other site like it!

Hi there polaris!
Yes, there's actually something in mylot that's so irresistible.
Don't you think so?
However, I am still thinking why some people find this site boring and tasteless when in fact there are a lot of things that can be done here and there are plenty of interesting topics that can be discussed here, too.
But I can't blame them though...
Sometimes, it can be tiresome to think and contemplate on things.

In my opinion "excess of every thing is bad". I say it in the context because if you think in one day you will post 100 responses ( depends more on your stamina i should say)or more then definitely you will get bored from it.
I normally get bored from MYLOT if my responses increase by my capacity to respond or if i dont find some interesting discussions.
Its not the case nobody gets bored from MYLOT but it depends on person to person.May be i am new thats why i feel like this??. May be when get older & older & have more fun i wont get bored from it.

Hi there sjvg!
How are you?
Yes, of course! Too much of something is bad...
But reading from the responses of others, I can say that
some do get bored here while others have their unique way of getting more fun and excitement out of this site.
You're right, maybe it takes time before one can learn to truly enjoy and really appreciate this site.
Good luck to all of us!
