glimps of heaven

My Dad was very sick in PA. He was a truck driver at the time and was stopped at a truck stop to get some rest and maybe feel better. He tried to take a shower but could not make it to the showers. He set down in a booth and was noticed by an attendant and a waitress. Their shifts ended soon and they took him to the emergency room. While he was their he asked the Dr. for something for pain and the Dr. told him he could not give him anything because it would kill him. He was that sick. During the next fow hours at some point he went to Heaven. He said he saw grass and trees that were so bright in color, he had never seen anything like it. Everything here was pale to what he seen. He told me he seen the Throne of God. He said when he could not see anyone on the throne he new he was not supposed to stay. He recovered and until his death he would cry every time he spoke of the vision. He would ask, "Why did I have to come back?" He is there now, home where he wanted to be, and at times I find myself jealous that he is there and I'm not. I miss him and will see him again. Have you known of someone who had a similar experience?
