They're all moving out.

So many houses are for sale on my street. We live on a quiet crescent, 15 houses in all and 9 are going to be moving. It was quiet and hubby knew everybody. They were very nice neighbors and its sad to think that they want to be moving away. Some are moving because they want to get closer to work. Some think their houses is too big and want to buy a smaller house.
I can only hope that we'll have nice people moving in.
Do you have changing neighbors or has it been the same for a long time?
How would it make you feel if you had so many new neighbors about to move in?

Most of our neighbors here have been here since my childhood days.
Well i guess they just have to be practical and do what they think would be the best for them and their family.
I think i would even do the same thing if i would be working from another state or got a big house that's too much for us to handle.
Missing your neighbors and your used-to-be house is the hard part.

I do understand that some have to move for good reasons. The only reason Im sad about it is that they're all very good neighbors, quiet and dont make any trouble.
Thanks for sharing and lucky you to have the same neighbors as your childhood days!

Well one of my neighbors have left the street and now live somewhere else though its not same as before but I do miss them a lot. they were nice people and another one whose house is right next to mine is thinking of moving , I will not be sorry to see them go though they are worst kind of people and have fought with everyone on the street , illegally occupied a portion of park that is in front of our house and do not allow except their own kids to play in that area. They are thinking of moving and selling their house, we would be glad to get rid of them as everyone is sick of their behavior. They have just got a lot of money in inheritance and thinking of buying a larger house in midst of city I am praying that they get more money and move out soon. Lolz

I'll keep my fingers crossed that they move out very soon. Sounds like they are the worst kind of neighbors you can have. We used to have one family who was making trouble but they moved out fast.
Maybe you can send them listings of bigger houses so they might fall in love with one of them and move out very fast haha!!
Thanks for sharing and let us know when they move out!

Many of the houses in our block are rentals and this can happen often. I know a couple of neighbors, one has never spoken to us or the other person between us, and I barely recognize the others. Most of the neighbors are quiet, but one works a very late shift and had company and lit a fire in the backyard, etc. (drinking) from 11:30 pm until after 3:30 a. m. I think we are up in the are all the time.

I guess they would move often if its rental. I also wouldnt recognize them, hubby does as he walks the dog all the time.
Your neighbor sounds like he has night hours like we used to but we never lit a fire or have company all night long!! That must have kept you up also. Although it was "his" daytime, he should be more respectful of the people living around who have a "normal" schedule.
Hope he'll be more careful next time.
Thanks for sharing GG !!
