So I'm seeking your kind assistance to move this funds to you as far as I can be assured that my share will be safe in your care until I complete my service here (LIBYA).Please respond for further details. Sincerly, Allen Graves. (Sgt) What is there about this email that would make you suspicious? Would you be tempted to reply to SGT Allen Graves in regards to sharing some of this cash? Do you think this email was written by an American combat instructor.

"What is there about this email that would make you suspicious? " For starters, this: "in the U.S Army attached to Nato presently in Libya as a combat instructor" We don't have troops in Libya, and if we did, they would not likely be mass emailing people while on covert duty. Then there's this.... where many arms and plenty cash in U.S. dollars and pounds where discovered in barrels at a farm house near one of Col Muammar Gaddafi old palace in Libya during a rescue operation. S Old Iraq war story rehash. it's out there, don't feel like digging it up...but it's been done already. To do something like this would mean many many years in a military penal facility and many other nasty consequences. Only a complete utter unquestionable moron would email someone randomly to help them do it.

Also, the first thing I'd ask is "who is this guy, why would he write to me and how did he get my email address?"

When you read this piece many anomalies come to mind. Why would Gaddafi keep his money in an old barrel anyway? Perhaps he does have barrels of money, but its all safely stanched away in hidden accounts.

I honestly think it may be spam. I get a lot of random messages like that and I would no doubt delete it. Replying to it could only land you a virus or your credit card number being stolen. Then again, I do not doubt that something like that could happen (I just don't think the person would be emailing randoms). There is corruption in everything in life and to say that the military and the government are the least likely to do it is the biggest lie ever.

Everybody needs to be suspicious of all emails from unknown people. I seldom even open them, but this one was so unusual it took me by surprise. But even as I read it I know this SGT wasn't going to get as much as a reply from me. No need for him to get his pants in a knot just because of me. Hope no body get seriously scammed by him!
