A weiner AND a carrot? I'm not sure what jb's up to in the ol' private life, but it sounds more exciting than mine.

Wow...the dems in washington are actually turning on him? You know the rule it kills a Republicans career....but it's ok for a democrat..in fact it is encouraged so they can rub it in the face of the republicans that they can do it while the repubs can't. LOL
It looks like he won't go unless he is forced out. He has always been a grandstander and will always be a grandstander. It is going to take a heck of a lot of preasure to him bow out. I don't see them doing it unless it comes out that he is a serial cheater (but hey so is Bill and they still love him) or that one of the girls was underage. Something really major is going to have to come out of it for this to not just blow over in a couple of days.
But I did hear he may get into some legal trouble for how he handled it. That should be interesting to watch. But who knows. He may survive it. I still remeber the guy that had all that bribe money in his freezer, got caught red handed...still got re-elected.
ok..I just depressed myself. Gotta go and get some ben and jerrys therapy.

The headline did not depress me....the fact that looking at past history of messed up (really wanted to say a bad word) politicans that still manage to keep their jobs AND get re-elected depresses me.
But don't worry. Got some ice cream goodness in me so it is all good now!!

Not everyone takes this headline as so funny. I've put pressure on my weiner numerous times, and I'm usually not laughing when I do it.

Weiner should resign because he sent pictures uninvited to women he did not know. He sent negative or illicit pictures of himself. This was not wise. He should resign because he showed poor judgement.
However , if he does not I think he has learned a great lesson but if he is really sick he will do it again.

I think eventually the Dems will convince him to resign and stop the bleeding. More women are coming forward because, well let's face it, someone will pay them for their stories and photos (ABC paid one of them 10K). The naked photo came out. Every day is going to bring some new reminder of the story and it's going to hurt them in the long run.
On the other hand, aside from bringing up the fact that there are new photos and messages being released now and again, the conservative talking heads ought to stop concentrating on this story. If they gang up on him too much, people will start to feel sorry for him. Besides, as he continues to bleed out he's hurting the rival party. They should let it play out.

I'm sick of "weinergate" but I do think he should resign. Our public officials should be a good example to the people they represent--they should be people that parents can point out to their kids and tell them that they can be like that one day if they work hard. Instead, we have perverts and criminals representing us, people who have no self control and no solid moral base in their lives.

Now that I read the other replies, I see that this was not supposed to be serious. Sorry! But I stand by what I said.

Honestly, until an investigation is done and they get all of the details and find out how bad the situation truly is, I don't think that he should resign, yet. I think that what he did was wrong, and I think that it was cheating, but that is his own personal business. Now, if it had any major effect on the people that worked with Weiner or for him, then yes, he might want to reconsider staying in office. Just saying.

xfahctor,
I have to say that politics is a dirty game and this scandal is just another old trick in the book.
Tabloids will be tabloids and this is not the first time some one is being incriminated. Weiner is just another unfortunate piece in the game.

I hope it goes on for awhile...There were more pics today. I want to see just how many they can dig up before they are done. Besides while they are plastering this all over the news, it gives Hussein time to do who knows what. He knows that Americans are so easily distracted....

And even with all that pressure, he's still not resigning.
I guess he's just going to hang in there... ![](/Content/images/emotes/blush.gif)
