i love being single!

ms squarepants, am a bit amused with your statement. Well, you have not yet found the man who is destined to be your boyfriend, husband or whatever. And if that is what you feel as of the present, then go for it. Not everyone is destined to become single forever. I guess it's a kind of vocation being single. Being single brings some kind of responsibilities. You have missions in life specially if you have siblings who are having difficulties, you will be the one whom they can turn to as you don't have a husband who will prevent you from helping them..., You're still young and we don't know yet what will come ahead of us.

Do you mean to say that there is a separate blogging site for singles and you are part of it? or you are talking about mylot? Why do you want to remain single?

Even though we're single, we can still live life to the fullest and enjoy the blessings of GOD. I hope you would be very active here in myLot. WELCOME TO MYLOT ! You are writing well. presentation is much better than most of us. (I include myself also). But I will not agree with you on that being happy--single. You can wait for two more years--find a good boy get married. What is the custom in Phil- Is it parents will find a boy or girls will themselves find a suitable boy? In India though son or daughter has studied masters, it is only parents who help them find their life partner. have a great day.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to remain single. It is what i would suggest my daughter do at your age. Have fun and meet people from all over the world here. When the time comes and you find the right person, you will be a better rounded person and therefore bring more meaningful elements into the relationship. I asked this question often lately more so since the so-called kindly advice urging a particular kind of association. At which leads loneliness? We took advantage of this period I spent with just me and this time I have been beneficial. I needed time to thinking and to reflect. Let me check my own being to the deepest corner. It was a time that helped me find myself. The more I lost on the road ... I needed time to find my way. I regained the faculty of clear thinking and equanimity. I rediscovered a treasure that lay hidden in a corner of the soul .. I rediscovered views, wishes and feelings ... So loneliness is not always harmful! Sometimes it is even beneficial.

I have been single for years as well. It is actually quite free to be single that you don't have to waste time on reporting what you have done or where you have been to on phone to your boyfriend; You don't have to waste time chatting on phone or msn with your boyfriend talking about something meaningless; You can go out with your friends whenever you like because you don't need to consider the feeling of your boyfriend, who may always complaining or telling something bad about your friends or forcing you to go out with him instead of your friends. I hate the feeling of losing freedom. Starting a relationship, to certain extent, means controlling another person's life. Also you don't have to waste time on quarelling with your boyfriend just because of some minor things; And more importantly, you don't need to worry always that your boyfriend is cheating you and there is actually a third party existence among you guys. Remember, you are the only one who is responsible for your behaviour as well as your life. Love being single, yeah!

Hi there! Yes, it's nice to be single. You get to be independent and have complete control on your life. Single life is awesome! However, I don't intend to be single my whole life. I'm also thinking of getting a partner in life who will be there up to life's end. I don't want to grow old without a special someone. Maybe, time will only tell when the when a person needs to stop being single already. Just enjoy your status now and live through life!Enjoy being single!
