Or simply put, would you be attracted to a nerdy, average looking guy. Nerdy as being like the guys in Big Bang Theory, humorous in a sense with conversations mostly relating to information bits and technical know how every now and then. Do you think guys like them are sexy to date with? Need your opinions on this one. Thanks!

I really like the big bang theory guys, they are so funny... I'd love to have some friends like them...
I go for personality and Smarts, so if that was a nerdy guy then yeah.

Then you better be friends with me! What do you want to talk about? Calculus, physics or chemistry. I do prefer chemistry and I hope you and I get something like that! Haha! I got a bunch of friends too who are nerds, we always have a good laugh coupled with deep thought. The problem is you will almost always have the "Penny moment". The moment wherein you can't relate with what they are saying and clueless about what's coming out of their mouth. And yes, nerdy guys do have a great personality too.
Do you have the hots for Sheldon Cooper, Ms. pinklilly? Haha!

I love sheldon he is the best..
I love the way he technologies everything. I think I would most defiantly have a "penny moment".
He also has to do things in a particular order.
Are you like that?

You got me on that! I am not like that. I don't do things in a particular order like Sheldon. But I think I can handle doing one of his best moves. Bazinga!
Would that be enough for you? Haha!

That depends, he should be interesting too. I mean on The Big Band Theory, I just love Sheldon (he's sooo cute and funny!), but I don't see anything interesting on Leonard character and Howard is pretty repulsive.
I think it all depends of the personality. I don't know if you already saw the show Beauty and the Geek, but in this show there plenty of guys that are nerds but seems to be nice guys.

I guess I just have to see that film Beauty and the Geek. So, girls dig the Sheldon Cooper type? I think I'll have to pull off a Sheldon Cooper stunt and try to attract a girl that way! What do you think? Haha! And yes! Nerds are nice guys, just don't mess up with their thesis! :)

Oh sorry! I thought it was just a film. I should have searched it first in myLot search engine first before I commented. Haha! Interesting that it is a series. But snap! I have a lot of series in waiting to be watched. I hope I can squeeze Beauty and the Geek too. you got some interesting points about Sheldon Cooper that I should consider. Haha!

Well, I really think Sheldon interesting, but maybe because his charm is that he doesn't like girls that way..lol!
Yep, you should see some seasons of Beauty and the Geek (I think there were made 5 seasons). On that series, one "beautiful" girl and one "nerd" guy make a team and compete with other teams to win a prize money in the end. I only saw two seasons, but usually the girls changed all their initial thoughts about the guys.

Most of the girls like gorgeous men who are very masculine and good looking. But I'm quite attracted to those silent type guy or those nerdy guys with eyeglasses. I prefer those intellectual men than those who are just fond of boasting about themselves.

Yes, yes! I do believe that for girls, there is something magical about guys with eyeglasses. As for me, I do look good on eyeglasses, but it makes me look a bit matured or nerdy. I agree on this, intellectual men are really not insecure at all that they won't boast off anything simply because they know.
By the way, I am attracted to that avatar picture of you! I love that actress!

I have always found intelligence in a guy to be more important then looks.I know you have got to be attracted to a persons looks to a point, but yes I would date a nerdy guy if I wasn't already married to my nerdy, sweet, intelligent husband..lol.

Yes, I do hear that men tend to prioritize looks and women prioritize intelligence or security in relationships. So you got your own nerdy guy already eh? Good for you. So how's being married to a nerdy and intelligent guy? I bet you have rocket science relationship going on now, do you?

Ha-ha. I have this weird idea that you are describing yourself, AgentGulaman.
Most girls would not be attracted to a nerdy guy but don't lose hope, dude.
After all preferences change over time ^^
Over time, girls would go "gaga" on someone who is confident and is fun to be with :)

Haha! Maybe? I'm like a nerdy guy and a not-so nerdy guy at the same time. I'm really flexible at that! I am just curious on how women see nerdy guys and if they can be on their list of dates. I want to know if girls will give nerdy guys an opportunity if ever they were asked out by one. From the replies of the other people in here, I guess there really is a chance. So maybe I, for that, can get a date! Yeah, confident and humorous guys tend to get the girls turned on without a sweat. I'm currently trying to learn that style.

Hello!
Sometimes nerdy can be attractive. I've seen well groomed men who look nerdy but, they are cute and style is sharp, the clothes are expensive and the apperance is well groomed. Depending how nerdy they are, the looks whether they have style, class.
have a blessed day!

Hmmm...Yes I think that nerdy guys are very particular too of their fashion and how they look. But that is a different kind of nerdy guy. How about the other kind of nerdy guy who focuses on his experiments and do not take a bath or comb his hair to finish an experiment? Would that be a great date? Oh well, I think he won't have time to get a date either because he is busy doing his experiments!

Yes, I would since I am also a nerdy girl. I would rather have someone who knows what he is talking about rather than a guy who only depends on his looks, pride and ego as his only capabilities. I also like average looking guys since they are more down to earth and person who know how to have good conversation and not just narcissist praises of himself. Besides, a good-looking guy is more likely to break my heart into little pieces. That I don't want happening anytime soon. More power to the nerds!

Wow! Now I see a real nerd fan! How about if the guy nerd is a full blast techie fan. He often discuss about the latest technology gadgets and trends which eventually is not something you are updated of, or are you a techie nerd too? Hhmmm...Regarding those good looking guys likely to break your heart, I do see a lot of not so good looking guys too who can break hearts also. But I am sure you'll save a lot of your worries due to other girls trying to steal your man if you only got an average looking guy with you. Anyway, I'm a bit of the nerdy and little bit good looking guy. Would you date with me at that or you still prefer the average and nerdy one?
