I have felt like this on more than one occasion. I'm not very good at being told what to do, which is why I am now self employed and wanted to be my own boss. It's very hard, because your boss is probably taking the stress of the working day out on you because there is nobody else to aim the stress at. Also, if the success of a company is on your shoulders, you're probably likely to be stressed, which might come across as "nagging" to you. You should try to rise above it, but if you can't then you should have a word with them, because they might not even realise they're doing it.

I have had bad experiences like that in different work places. Oh, yes, bosses can be very nagging and annoying. That was the reason I changed job recently. Now, I am so happy that I am working for a very understanding boss. All the colleagues are also so friendly and cooperative.

I remember the first time it happened to me is when I was working in a fast food restaurant. I was working very hard and as fast as I can, I did not break any rules nor have conflict in any of the staff.
Unfortunately my boss started to call and nag me, saying that I wasn't fast enough and if I continue to be like this he would fire me. I'm like what the f#@$ is his problem, I don't know maybe I'm at the wrong place at the right time that he started boasting all of his temper at me. That ruined my day.
Some other bosses that I worked with is nice and friendly to his employees except for this guy that has some serious problem.
