Hi guys, I have been tortured by my painful knees for years. At that time I worked in a school near the sea and I wore high heels everyday to work and walked up stairs (you know although I am quite tall, I needed to wear high heels because my students are much taller than me...the feeling would be quite strange when they look down and stare at me like I am the kid. Wearing high heels can help me to build up a sense of authority).
But one day when I was ready to got off the bus, I suddenly couldn't move at all because my knees was very painful. Then I visited a practitioner and he gave me some herbal medicine to apply on my knees. It did relieve the pain a little bit but the situation become worse these years. I always feel painful, especially on rainy days, that I can hardly stretch and bend my leg. I dare not to go up and down stairs also.
I told friends about this situation and they didn't believe me at all as it usually happens on more elder people. They teased on me and I feel very desperate. I am just 23 years old and I don't know what to do to relieve the pain. Do you guys have the same situation? What do you usually do? Any good tips?

I suffer pains at knee joints and ankles some times. Very painful. My doctor told me that is gaut. But, at your age , what you are having is not gaut. Must be some other causes. Any way, you should talk to your doctor and take his advice. For me, gaut is caused by certain types of food ( fatty food for instance ) which generates uric acid.
