why is Facebook so addictive?

I sometimes think why is that Facebook is so addictive because sometimes i feel like not leaving it and just want to stay on it and connected with my friends via chatting and there are so many application and games that forces me stay on Facebook.

Yes Facebook is very addictive because it has a lot of applications and various features that attract every age group from child to an adult.Its difficult to leave Facebook as we are connected with our friends and we like a lot of applications and there are various things that can be done on this social networking site and Facebook as per my information has the most number of users.

I think that there was a time when a lot of countries were thinking about the ban on Facebook because people even during their work time would be on Facebook which was affecting the country.

I wish I would feel the same way. But I was never addicted to Facebook. I don't know why many people are addicted to that site. Maybe it's because I haven't tried to play some games there. I haven't opened my account in facebook for a couple of months now. But maybe I will try to logged in there to see the new changes I've been hearing about. :)

Its Facebook :) Seriously it is addictive because of the many applications it has. Some of the games require you to login always every now and then for some refill of energy and the like. It is easy to chat with friends and browsing photos is very worthwhile.

Hi Bhavzm, I would say, Facebook is a open diary where everyone can know of others personal details and their status till today. This creates more interesting and naturally cause addiction to FB.

I guess it makes us happy and entertain us making us forget all our problems for a while. Maybe, it makes us a little bit closer to our relatives who are far from us. Whatever it is, we just have to use our time properly and practically.

I think it's addicting because you are constantly getting updates on everyone on your friends list's life. It bothers me so I don't care for facebook as much as I used to. Too many stalkers.

The reason why it is so addictive its because of the game and entertainment that is their.
A lot of people go their just for games,and chat with family and friends.So while chatting you can do a verity of thing at the same time while your their.
It is very addicted an entertaining,for the old family.I stay their because of the games and my friends and family.
