What Would You Do If You Found 50M?

There are stories of people finding fortune by coincidence. Like I have heard this radio broadcast of a guy pleading to the garbage collector who found his money in the trash that was collected from his house. Apparently the garbage guy told his friend...he gave a one week feast in the place where he lived and gave away sack of rice to each family and then he disappeared.
I forgot how the garbage guy was traced as someone who found the money. Well anyway call it stupidity the owner threw the money in garbage bin along with his other trash. Yes it was an accident but it was careless of him too. Well anyway what would you do if you found 50 M? Would it be finders keepers or would you be a good guy and return it?

Finders keepers is always a nice dream. And the saying that position is what 90% of the law. I would love to have the money to spend but honestly after a period of time I would start having guilty feelings and would want to be asured that the money was mine legally. Would have to do something to make it so.

ahhh yes the guilt... but come to think of it what if the money came from a gangster...hmmm i'd be more than happy not to give it back at all with no regrets!

It would really depend on where I found it and what I felt the circumstances could be. If I felt guilty there would probably be some reason and I would have to search that out. Ofcourse I would have 50M to get the best lawyers to help me figure out woudn't I?

you definitely can hire top lawyers to figure it out when you have 50 million at your disposal! hahaha you can afford private investigators and bodyguards too hmmm... now that sounds more chaotic than not finding 50M....

It really depends on where I find it or how I find it. If I see that I am at no risk keeping it and that I have no clue to whom it truly belongs then I guess the best thing is to do is spend it. For 50 million in our currency, it may not be that big but it could really do a lot. I think I'll be spending most of it on some business I'll establish, family matters, personal debts, and of course charity works.

oh surely 50M is 50M it can help us establish good businesses that we only dreamed of. if one accidentally trips on a 50M cash he would not have to wait years in vain to win the lottery!

If I were to find that much money I would report it and give my name and number, hoping that the person to claim it would contact me and possibly give me a token of their gratitude. It's not right to take so much money because even though it is so much and you may assume they won't miss it, we just do not know everyone's story and how it could effect their lives.

If I was to find a ton of money like that in the trash, it would probably be pretty difficult to trace the money to where it came from, so in that situation, it would be a case of finder's keepers. However, if I were to find a wallet or something like that which had some kind of way to identify the owner, I would give the wallet back to the owner of it with everything in tact because I think that honesty is the best policy in that kind of a situation.

yes honesty is the best policy if it were just a wallet with id lol but 50M my that's a lotta money and to find it in the garbage bin without an id is finder's keepers thing. i was chuckling when i heard that news...i was thinking to myself what an idiot that guy is to be so careless with that amount of money and throw i to a garbage can. Also the owner is a loan shark in that case I would never return it to him.

If I found a money and there's an identification from the owner, I will definitely return it. Whether it is worth a fortune or not. However, if I find a money without any identification, I will consider it mine already.

Hmm well, I think it is not the garbage collector's sin if he got the money dur to the carelessness of the owner.
It is luck and fortune.
Misfortune for the real owner of thrown money (lol)

If i found someone misplaced money while traveling I'd return it to him.But to throw money into the garbage bag which in turn is dumped into garbage is rank carelessness.I can't fathom what sort of a person would be so reckless as to lose money this way? Here we are all struggling to make ends meet and hardly managing in these tough times. They say people who have earned money know the value of money and are stingy. But in this case it appears to be the reverse.I wouldn't have pity on a man whose money found its way to the garbage can.

Wait, you mean 50 million dollars!?!??!?! Who would have the luck to win that much money? I would say I would keep it, and just hide it from the world. My plan would be to live a simple life, and maybe take out a couple thousand of dollars every month. It would be best not to attract attention, because when you have attention, there will be both the good guys and the bad guys after you. Maybe, I would give 1 million or two back to the owner, but it really is his fault. He'd have to sworn to secrecy, though, and not tell anyone about the money. I'm sorry I am that kind of person who goes like "finders keepers", but 50 million is hard luck to be earned. Of course I would give some to charity, but I would keep most.

Honestly speaking i will buy myself a personal house and office and brand new cars and will live a royal life but i will also use that money for good deeds and will help poor people and will also help those who have high ambitions but they lack cash.I will donate to cancer patient and also to those who are in a lot of need.Last but not the least i will give some money to build a temple and then save some for my future.

I would probably keep it ,but give a lot of it away. And if the owner traked me down some how I wouldn't give it back unless he had proof because its his falt he lost it. Thats if i found it in the trash. If I found it at the store and it wasn;t as much as 50M than i would probably give put it in lost and found beacuse it could be someones paycheck for the month.
