Two weeks ago my PC crashed and burned and departed this mortal world for a better life in cyber heaven. Two days ago i emptied my bank account to buy not one but two laptops. One was for my 9 yr old daughter so that we would stop arm wrestling to see who got to use the PC. After losing the last two best of three bouts i thought two laptops would spare me some embarassment. The only thing left was to tell my wife we would be eating food only from the garden as i had emptied the bank account to get the laptops. As we do not grow any vegatables in the garden this means we will be living off worm omelettes for the rest of the month. (provided i can climb the tree to get the sparrows eggs) Sadly my wife did not take the news well. First she said she would never talk to me again (i thought that a new laptop and my wife never talking to me again ws a win/win situation) then she decided to throw me out into the garden and i am not getting back in until i say sorry. well, i am not saying sorry! (at least, not until i need to recharge the laptop) So now i find myself typing under a tree while the rain gently drips on my face, avoiding the poo on my cheek from the owl sitting above me. What is the strangest place or situation you have found yourself mylotting in? Why do owls not come out in the rain? because it's towet towoo.

You have a 9 yr old daughter. From the postings I thought u will be around 25 or so. nice. Are u into business? How come u r free on a working day? Say sorry to ur wife immediately and get into the house. You will get money and there will not be any issues. I am happy about the way u have written. U can attempt writing short stories or novels. I suggested the above step so that u will be happy and you will be able to contribute more for mylot. have a great day.

Nice to be young in mind. It is 4 pm here in Indiana. USA. I am a retired person. I enjoy typing whatever comes to my mind to spend the time.

It is really pity to hear that you are unable to do posting in the comfort of your home. I ever tried to do posting while shopping in the malls before and found it is rather difficult and always my mind goes blank. I still prefer to go posting from my home. Hopefully, you have solved your problem with your wife by now. After all, posting from the comfort of home is still the best place....

That's very good news. Forgive and forget is essential in any relationship. Hopefully, you wife will also support all your works.....

Really? This really happened? That's too funny! You are lucky that I am not your wife! I would have shut down the internet so you'd be sitting under a tree in the rain and under an owl with no distractions other than being unable to connect to anything. There was a kid that used to sit under the tree outside my apartment for hours using our wi-fi connection. we used to mess with him by turning it off...just to mess with him because we really didn't care. BUT you on the other hand...emptying the bank account and making the family starve for a month all because you can't effectively argue with a 9 yr old...you'd be living under that tree for a while.

Well at least you are able to see the bright side. Maybe you could find some old boards and build yourself a little tree fort. It would kill some time and release some of that creative talent you have and it would give you some shelter...it would really suck if the rain got worse and ruined your new little laptop that has caused you all this trouble!

i perhaps have laced this with a certain degree of artistic licence. my wife should be happy as this leaves her free to watch all her soaps on tv all week. plus it is a guaranteed weight loss programme!

When it is time for my pet to be let out in the garden which is more often than the clock doing its striking job, I find paws pushing my hand away from the key board resulting in those typos that one sees here. She won't let me do my job till I go down the steps and open the front door. But just between you and me I like those paws doing what they do!

I am sooooo grateful as I can sit, lay and or do jumping jacks while I myLot. Happy to hear that you have your new Laptop!

you are lucky indeed to have the comfort of your house. i do have to admit that once again i am using artistic licence. my wife only shackled me with chains in the celler. she really is such a sweety!

A wonderful post made with a great sense of humour. I cannot imagine myself being thrown out of my house for purchasing a laptop. But being able to spend quality time with a modern technical machine without the frightful presence of a disgusted and visibly annoyed wife is not such a pitiable situation to be in. I'll bet there are several husbands out there who would pay you anything today to be in your shoes. The owl's poo just adds flavour to a wonderful camping outside.

i guess there are a few husbands that would indeed swap places with me. i had not looked at it that way!

Well does writing on a train counts , and assessing it on my mobile though I can't write that but its good to see what responses I have got, its so difficult to load on mobile but when my connection gets disrupted I spend a lot of money , just trying to see if I have heard from mylot friends.lolz, if only my hubby knew he would really throw me out of the house, I am paying a lot for the unlimited connection just so that I can work on my lot lolz. As for you being chained up it s good now you can write in peace from whatever dungeon you are locked up in, I would loved to be locked up with my com somewhere an not to take breaks to cook and clean for the whole family lolz

yes, mylotting in a dungeon has it's benefits. no annoying interuptions and the light from the screen lets me count the rats while i am waiting for mylot to load.

that is hilarious although the money situation if it's true then it's as bad as mine and it's nothing i laugh about the strangest place or situation I found myself mylotting, hmm I think it was when I let someone else's rescue dog into the house, thinking my timid cat would be ok with it. well it didn't. true the rescue dog had rescued cats too, yet this one didn't need rescuing I guess and so the pissing, jumping and scratching all over the house Instead of cleaning the piss and get the dog out of the house, I actually sat here mylotting. probably just got used to her litter smell... or just plain didn't care... whichever it was

hi ajk well as I grit my teeth with envy and use my elderly desk top computer I am wondering why you did not sort of prepare your wife for the empty bank book shock? I cannot think of any place where I have used my computer thats an odd place.its heavy and its a desk top so it is now' on the floor next to my desk as I id not have a narrow piece of furniture to sit it on that belonged to me but it is humming right along and working beautifully knock on wood here. so guess thats not too odd a place as its in my room and not ou t under the stars and the owl poop thank Goodness for that. I guess the beauty of laptops is their ability'to be carried anywhere while the beauty of my desktop; is it never needs constant repair or new charges either. lol l.ol I am on cable which I love jackrabbit fast from time Warner. It was nice of you to buy daughter one too so maybe you should have bought wife one too. okay enough already lol.

LOL You're too funny! Start growing some damn veggies in your garden, they really are delicious and save lots of money. I have tomatoes, herbs, lettuce, peppers, beans, and more. I can save about $200 a month in the summer months from the garden! You might want to reconsider. ; ) Hope you're enjoying your new laptop(s) and your wife has forgiven you. Have a great weekend!

we have thought about growing our own veg but to be honest i am too lazy after a days work to start digging. i did buy 15 cows as i thought they would be easy to look after but they are needy beggers! always wanting to be milked at all times of the day and it tastes shite as it is warm! smelly fu(ker too!

Well i have found myself my lotting almost anywhere.College, home or even on the beach.I find it almost addictive and really like asking new things and responding to others posts. The financial insensitive thing with them paying you is a really good intensive to donate to the community with new fresh topics. It would probably not be as active if nothing was offered to the users, as some of then rely on the extra income to help pay a bill or put gas in their car when their paycheck is just not cutting it.
