Hi guys! What are your thoughts on distance learning education? There are many universities and colleges now offering distance learning education. Can you recommend it? I know its advisable for those people who are working and at the same they want to study. What about a full time student in distance learning? Do you think after graduation you are at par with those who graduated in residence with a university or college? Are there disadvantages in case you are applying for a job?

I've always seen DLE to be a complement to your actual college education (or masters, or whatever). Some universities offer free courses which have international (or national) validation and increases your knowledge and skills on the field you are studying, which is always a plus.
As for getting a job with a DLE degree I think you are at a disadvantage since it's something new and not all people know about DLE, its advantages or the level of learning and skills that gets you. But that's just how I see it...
